  • i hope a shft/wrol situaition doesnt happen soon, im only 14 and havent had a chance or the money to make a bug out bag yet. also i have a ? what kinds of things does a gas mask prevent? i mean i know it obviously blocks poisonus gases but what kinds and could a mask protect you from radiation?

  • @boldcrazyman The best thing you can do is learn how to make shelter, gather or hunt food, evade capture and make fire from scratch. Learn how to control your emotions if things do get bad so that you will not be your worst enemy. It protects from all warfare gases but not radiation. I recommend growing and stowing ROSEMARY PLANT which is easy to grow and has been proved to be best fight against radiation.

  • @mercen144 thanks for the information

  • @mercen144 oh and how would you use the rosemary to fight the radiation?

  • @boldcrazyman you eat it. I eat it fresh everyday on my sandwich for lunch. But if you cook it fresh or dried it works just as good. And it taste great too. Its the main ingredient for Rotiserie Chicken Flavor...

  • I'd also add an M40 protective mask, and several c2 filters for that. a bag of carbon granules and water cleansing tablets might also be a good idea. What surprised me is that you didn't pack at least a state map, and the only compass you have is that flimsy thing that's part of the whistle. I'd trade the water container for a camelbak bladder and hose. But yea I'm guessing you tend to hang out in more rural areas, so i'd say it's a good start.

  • probably don't agree with ur politics but thanx! this was very help full.

  • @KozmoJ68 np Peace bro

  • probably don't agree with ur politics but thanx

  • greetings from pa too. near philly unfortunately

  • Lots of comments seem to assume that bugging out is going to be caused by some sort of war, that's not my intention. I'd be fucked in a war situation anyway as we don't have ready access to guns in my country. I'm thinking more along the lines of earthquake, flooding, volcanic activity, anything that removes me from my house. Assuming I survive in the first place its just nice to have a lot of useful stuff packed in the one place. If I don't survive maybe my pack could help somone who does.

  • @superman2261919 This is just my first bag. I have since revised it and have one for every cituation. Thanks for your input.

  • Good supply and good video. From the UK so some items not available. Very comprehensive bag to have. Its not much cost to have stowed for use

  • 35 dislikes? why? I thought this was a pretty damn good video. I couldn't find one item in his bag that I thought was a bad idea. I would add cordage and a tarp/tent. The common hunting camo pattern of his backpack won't arouse too much suspicion compared to someone who is carrying a great big camo military pack. Thanks for making this vid mercen144

  • @FarFallen1 Thank you, i made the video two years ago to make people aware of bugout bags but since youtube is full of experts every corner you turn it doesnt surprise me the video got so many dislikes. They could also be 32 people who dont think anyone needs a bugout bag. and BTW, I was pulled over with my bugout bag full of stuff and when the cops asked about it all i used the HUNTERS PACK to not draw attention to myself lol. Good you picked that out!

  • @FarFallen1 It is a good video, although I reckon he could ditch the toothpaste. Toothbrush yes, paste no. Seems to calm the guy down, ??? I've read that when jungle training, the SAS don't use toothpaste because the smell of it carries quite a distance and is easily picked up by someone with a good nose. Same goes for tobacco, but as a smoker myself I can understand that one.

  • @Dave54600 Yea toothpaste contains floride. Floride is a known brain agent to make you calm and accept whatever cituation you are in. Its like a lobotamy.... this is what the Nazis used on the jews to make them accept thier fate in the camps and ghetto... pretty much i was just joking about the toothpaste.

  • please folks remember to add a gas mask, there a different types and prices do the research specially to the area u inhabit or will inhabit...also medicine, insulin, morphine, and antibiotics, are essential.and dont forget AN AUTOMATIC WEAPON no joke....

  • Problem with the BOB is that over the years you find more and more crap that seems useful and probably isn't, don't know when to stop. Then when you need it you have to trim all the shit you can't carry or don't need, while asking yourself repeatedly "Why did I pack this?" You also have to think about each item in relation to the reason you're bugging which could be very complicated. This process will takes an age and result in a sort of slow motion bug out which could be costly.

  • @Dave54600 Couldn't have put it better myself..

  • @Dave54600 THE SOLUTION...create a BOB for everyseason sounds stupid but i do it, and i always keep it up to date I replenish it every six months..sounds paranoid? well I love to live by this....ITS BETTER TO HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT THEN TO NEED IT AND NOT HAVE IT...hopes this helps

  • Comment removed

  • i also have a high visibility jacket incase you need rescue from helicopter etc and a couple of sticks of chalk incase i want to write on rocks

  • Ever been flooded out, most of the time the water rises slowly. You usally have time to grab and go. Then you can head to higher ground set up a tent put your sleeping bag in it. This can keep you out of the elements maybe saving your life and others.I currently have four bags set to go.Having a $200.oo set up can make a huge difference. I was flooded out in Tucson Arizona in 1983, The water I saw looked like the Pacific ocean, as I could not see how wide the river was anymore.

  • So many comments about invasion.Way too many armed civilians in the U.S. to worry about that. The BOB is a great idea incase of major earthquake, fire, flood etc...Or God forbid Rodney gets beet up by the cops again!

  • This is such a trend these days.. paranoid Americans. Good for economy tho, people buys stuff they will never use~! LOL

  • @urkingod well, yeah some of it is paranoia but it is a smart idea to have things like this, there most likely won't be an invasion or an outbreak of super flu, but i bet alot of people wished they had some kind of basic supplies in the aftermath of hurricane katrina.

  • you guys should read patriots by James Wesley Rawls you will learn something

  • "Here I have my toothe paste. In case I need to calm down." wtf?

  • @AutomatikSynthetik Hitler would add Flouride to the drinking water at the work camps so that the populace of jews would accept thier fate and be calm and submissive.

  • @mercen144 thanks for the history lesson Adolf.

  • Good job on the video. Hopefully you've tested what you need out in "your" boonies. BOBs are location specific and cannot suit every need. My BOB is my hard trapping pack basket, totally unsuitable for urban use, but then again I wouldn't be bugging anywhere, especially not TOWARD population centers.

We've chosen to ignore the "under 30 yuppie hype", and stocked our packs with items that we used daily in the rural '60's and items that worked for the Colonists & Pioneers.

  • Whole bug out philosophy is pathetic. If SHTF how much advance notice do you think you are going to get? Unless you are already close to the wilderness you are screwed, Roads will be blocked and/or packed. Some might make it,most, will die, this is the idea behind war. Remember? Those that do make it to a safe place won't be safe forever, especially from super weapons and fallout, rouge patrols. Most Americans don't get what is really going to happen in an invasion

  • @irishslave51 most americans that are making a bugoutbag for an invation... really dont know much to begin with. I would bet most are making bugout bags for rouge patrols and government internment camp collections... Basically your right, this is why i live in the middle of nowhere to begin with. When all communications go and my ham radio stops working... well then the end is here... and yes, iodine and chem suits only get you so far before the weapon gets you...but it sure dont hurt to have em

  • @irishslave51 who is to say its an invasion

  • @irishslave51 Maybe we could all be like you and surrender to the fate handed out to us by others. Me, I prefer to be a man and not a mouse. I would rather die trying to escape than live like a massive vagina by surrendering. You choose your way and enjoy the cheese and coolaid.

  • @MickScarborough Do you think you are going to get an e-mail from Janet Napolitano (big sis) warning everybody to bug-out? People fuck me up, Do you have any idea of the intelligence and defense capabilities that are possessed by the elite? Believe me there is nowhere to hide if SHTF, Moreover no one knows what to expect, and a bunch of urbanites are going to bug out into the woods and go rambo? Get real. In a real DEFCON 1 situation most won't last a week

  • @irishslave51 My multiple bug out bags are for certain cituations. Most of them are for hunkering down and fighting. I will not surrender. And your right, most urbanites wont last when SHTF. Thank god im not an urbanite.

  • @mercen144 I see your point. Many of us will be willing to fight to the death, however if Agenda 21 is real and not propaganda, I believe it may shake out like this 1st: soft kill millions w/biologicals 2nd: round up of stragglers and dissidents using heat seaking and infared tech, put into camps and enslaved or croaked. If conspiracies are true they have planned this for a long time and have considered all contigencies. Only mutiny in the US military can save us, so they use foreign troops

  • @irishslave51 Dont argue, be prepared! :) Please. Thats all im trying to do here is get people prepared. Even if not physically, be prepared mentally.

  • @irishslave51 Sorry but you give the gvt way too much credit. Most of what you think they have is merely Hollywood fantasy. I have worked in the Gvt for 25 years and they do not have a clue. Also, you think the only bug out situation is gvt stuff? You need to get real Skippy. An economic collapse, which is far more likely than anything gvt related, is the best reason for bugging out. No one wants to face a mob of starving people who wants your stash.

  • @MickScarborough oh, im definitly more worried about the hungry masses as we enter into hyper inflation. Hungry people are dangerous. More so than the government. And when SHTF the hungry people will be in charge.

  • @MickScarborough Dont argue, be prepared! :) Please. Thats all im trying to do here is get people prepared. Even if not physically, be prepared mentally.

  • I laugh at most BUG OUT BAG info videos. EXAMPLE! You need a paper list of important phone numbers. bottled water. a gun and ammo. 2 different colored sweaters and maybe a different colored GYM BAG to replace your back pack [ [ to throw off people chasing you ] a map. walkie talkies and batteries. toilet paper. a few meal bars. a flashlight. CASH. nothing MILITARY or SOLDIERISH! [ they attract attention ]. extra keys. and things needed for the area of the world you are in. THINK 'ON THE RUN'.

  • @269dremer The point of this video is to "Prepare" people to prepare themselves. Because you never know when you will need it, what you will need. I have multiple bugout bags at different locations of places i frequent. Each one has exactly what I need to get to somewhere else safetly. But if i showed them all... or got too much in depth... the point of my personal bugout bags would actually give away too much personal information. I know what you mean

  • @mercen144 YES...I... KNOW... WHAT.... YOU.... ARE.... SAYIN.... [ south park humor ] ... Other ideas THAT I HAVE HEARD are.... put a door lock on an abandonded house that you and YOUR GROUP can get into. And inside leave a stash. Or have preset locations to find those that HAD TO RUN AWAY. Or ... actually there is a SURVIVIAL GUIDE FOR THE SHEEPLE going around. do you want me to email it to you? AND! Plant FRUIT BEARING TREES EVERYWHERE! Think the movie THE ROAD! BE GOOD! GOD BLESS US ALL!

  • No don't invest in gold and silver cause if pol now u have it then they will come after u first I know it happened to my famliy in Katina

  • @tompad20 They are already comming for my family first. Twenty years of dissent gets you up to the top of the list.

Gold is good to have although survival skills are worth thier weight in gold.

  • EZ Wider for rolling cigarettes?... yeah, uh huh.. wink wink,

  • where did u get the flare gun?

  • @InVok3thaunknown it came with a airforce emergency survival jacket i bought for five bucks at garage sale allong with many other items you see here

  • Guessing ur from pa if u go to cabales

  • have you tried running or even walking a couple of miles with 125lbs on your back?

I highly recommend you stick to the 40-50lb bag.

are food rations included in the 125lbs?

  • @CantaGalo86 actually hiked 982 miles in three months with 160 lbs... so what are you trying to say?

  • @mercen144

was just asking the question. Not trying to say anything just making convo.

Personally, i just think anything too far over the 50 (or 80 if you have mil bg) would make it hard to scramble (diving, jumping fences, walls, climbing trees). It's all pref.

  • @CantaGalo86 The majority of my weight comes from my arms, but my personal bugout bag includes a minority of the items i presented . Each cituation that arises has a different bag. I have many bags, plus i have many for my family and friends. Each bugoutbag you make makes a new soldier who is willing to cover your back. 40lbs is a perfect weight but what you may choose to take with you is differnt than I. I can start fire with two peices of wood. Most people need matches etc...

  • @mercen144 yeah it's 100% personal pref. Yeah I fall in that "most ppl catagory" lol that's why i signed up for a 5day primitive living skills course come Oct. Knowledge is the best tool. I've just been on a few "bugout runs" in the woods of NH and ME and i've spotted buddies of mine with their monsterous bags and i could of easily pegged them off with my bow and taken their stuff.

I recommend a ghillie throw-on, in your bag.

  • @CantaGalo86 Well my ghillie i wear :) I plan on making a new one since mines been in "use playing paintball" and i want to video tape how to make one out of potato sacks for under 10 dollars.

  • @mercen144 Nice, deff put up a vid i'd like to see that. ghillie for under 10 bucks sounds good to me.

  • wheres your pot at dude? i know you have some in there somewhere

  • How much does the complete BOB weigh? I think it is awesome and I will try to immulate it.

  • @TheStealthCamper Each one of my packs (I have Four) Weigh about 125 lbs. I also have lighter ones about 40 lbs. Design them for what ever cituation may arise where you are and be prepared for anything. Nuke Pack, Gas Pack, Hyperinflation Pack, Martial Law Pack etc etc etc. Or just do as I did in this video, make one pack and throw out whatever you need less in the time of emergency

  • @TheStealthCamper .....I also find it awesome, and will try to immolate it.

  • @teotwawki12 Think you meant "Emulate". Immolate is pretty different and not that difficult with a flamethrower. :)

  • @fastacker2 ....yeah, I gotcha.....just poking a bit of fun at a prior comment...

  • @teotwawki12 I unnerstan.. I was wondering how there could be two train wreck spellings in a row. Makes sense now. Excellent.

    10-4 Manimal

  • How am I supposed to remember that V stands for "value living" AND ... wait, WTF did it stand for besides that?

  • @worldpolicenow Value living, The will to live, Mental strength, subborness when faced with cituations that when the mind and body are soft seem impossible but when a survival cituation is presented before you and you value living you take the extra step to ensure survival.

  • @WeCanAllGetAllong It is better to have and not need, than to need and not have. ;)

  • @klintonlee0711 Exactly... I have spent over $2k on my bug out bag / EDC so far (including my pistol/rifle) - and I am not finished refining it yet either... It is something that takes a lot of thought, knowledge, and money to have things that are worth depending your life on.

  • lmao your gunshot/explosion intro had my ass jumping for the closest weapon

  • great idea on the glasses nobody has a pair in their bag

  • water is of the most important we need 2 litres a day , its more important than food , bushcraft books are good ( ray mears i highly recommend ) i have army 90 webbing which holds a lot of kit poncho machete bungees seeds canteens etc . and I'm able to use a big back pack as well for other things like dry clothes , a bow and arrow set would be useful as arrows can be made easily amo cant in the long term . its a good kit you have .

  • What do you think of FEMA / RED Cross information and their Bail Out Bag kit that sells which includes all the basic needs to last 72 hours ? Perhaps you can buy this $35 with everything in it, and modify them from there IF needed... ?

  • @urkingod I think that I would not trust Fema with anything. Make your own bag and spend the extra buck. Your much better off.

  • @mercen144 This is defiantly true... Why would you risk your life on cheap products?

  • To all new viewers I have found a book that can help you decide for yourself what are the best things to include in your bugout bag. Just click on the link in the description. The book is only 9 bucks and a must read.

  • I just turned 14, tried to make a BOB before, but I just put it aside. I have about 600 bucks now, and I was wondering if you might have any reccomendations for a good bag/alice pack??? thanks for any help

  • I would suggest going to library and looking for books that relate to survival in your area. "The Ultimate Guide to U.S. Army Survival Skills, Tactics, and Techniques" (Paperback) is an excellent book it cost 15 dollars. The most important things to have is water filtration systems(You can make these easy and cheap), knives hachets magnesium fire starting kit, wire for snare trapping, fishing supplies, shelter, socks and one weeks ration of food, hunting rifle and rounds.

  • @mercen144 Just get one of the nice Adidas pack - medium sized is plenty - 45 bucks. I don't think you want to look like the guy to get mugged with a fancy/military pack - the pack will easily hold poncho/liner, 1 gallon water, 3 3.6k calorie bars, esbit stove, camp cup, Katydan water filter, crank radio/light, trauma/meds kit, camp kit, small machete

  • Well this video is not a video on EVERYTHING you must have. Because then i would have my cammo, guns, ammo and i would show my vest, gas mask etc etc... but this video is made to make people think... what do I need in my bugout bag. I assure you I will not fail if the time comes. I recommend learning how to survive where you live by studying books of edible plants and survival. No bugoutbag can save you...only help you save yourself.

  • oooh nice rebuttle because after all knowledge is power and we dont see indians running around with bug out bags do we? i really like how the tables have turned on me i unfortunatley was quick to judge and was wrong, the pen is mightier than the sword after all sire, i like how you made recommendations not boasting about how much better your ideas were then mine, very respectable and admireable, i seem to be going on like a day dreaming school girl who has just recieved her first period.

  • But I hope it's not a new fashion fascist republican pro us lifestyle... It would sucks !

  • I love it. I use to play that when I was young. You know, too much tv, zombie movies and video games... Hahaha !

Seriously... I wish I never grown up...

  • good kit. im sure you are packin plenty of tobbacker, never know when you gotta barter!!! oh and dont let the ninnies give ya shit. we will be eaten their livers for supper one day!!!

  • Harmonica...brlliant ! Never thought of the wrist rocket for hunting, but that would work quite well.

Great collection of tools, don't think I saw a first aid kit though?

  • who stacks supplies for and apocolipse? Are you mildly retarded or slow? The definition or the verb you used would imply that no preparation would be benificial we would all be dead. So in a sense to me it seems as though you have to shoot others down that are bettering their own situations. Are you envious others seem to be doing better than you so you just lash out? If you have a family would you buy insurance for them? Thats all were doing is "insuring our familys".

  • "floride toothpaste in case I need to calm down" Did you imply that the fact of injesting floride makes you doscile???? I am positive the fact is true. Hitler put floride in the water of the camps so that they would be calm and doscile. Anyone know anything about this???

  • Yes. Albert Einstiens brother warned the US government about putting it into our drinking supply.

  • Yes, it's true they did, to make the prisoners less likely to revolt. The greatest secret is the strength of human numbers, to overcome any obstacle.

  • Actually only pussies need robots to get pussy and your dead wrong because im going to be hunting down people just like you.

Oh how i would like to find you and show you what it feels like to be that chicken YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!

You remember that when shit hits the fan. Your gonna be food for those who are prepared.

  • For real. Use this video for education. This is not for idiots to complain about monkey noises. If you cannot handle education on survival go choke on your mamas... Read, Learn and Grow the fuck up pussies.

Other than that thank you for watching my vid. I hope you choose to prepare for survival and not watching sports drinking floridated water and eating GMOS.

DOWN WITH THE NEW WORLD ORDER!

  • Do you get a lot of these people tearing survivalist down?

  • @SurvivalWithBushcraf Yes actually had to only allow approved comments because i had about two dozen crazies attacking survivalism. Dont know where they came from thanks for the backup :)

  • ez wider omg

  • @jokerman9311 lol I can assure you i am not a smoker :) Grew outta it 7 years ago when i became a father.

  • are the commies comming?

  • well according to the communist manifesto they came and conquered. They just call themselves republicrats and democans. They destroyed the schools, the campus, the media, all churchs and religions, the sports, the medicine, the politics, the money and the people.

Now they come to suck every last drop of freedom from the tree of liberty as if not one man ever died to preserve its beauty but died to preserve the state.

  • thats too destructive, they wiped an entire culture.

who do you think will cause the bug out time?

  • Wanna learn how to survive. Get the free board game BUGOUT! survival, at printgame dat com. Spread the word, your friends will thank you. Click GAMES > then scroll down and click BUGOUT!. You'll thank me later.

  • 5 stars Thanks for posting.

  • @TheOctoman34 : The beginning is the Military process for survival. It is mainly to help you remain calm and figure out what to do next. If you watch it again you can read S U R V I V A L.

  • what if it rains, you need a poncho or a tarp in there and also some type of rope

  • @americanpatriot95 Got one but great point! A poncho is only a short term solution anyways. They tend to not hold up good in the brush. Its better to be prapared for the weather and be sheltered than be moving anyways. But if you must move a poncho is light and essential.

  • whats the name of the survival book?

  • The Ultimate Guide To U.S. ARMY Survival Skills, Tactics, and Techniques

    Department Of The Army

    Edited by: Jay McCullough

Weapons-Tools-Equipment-Survival Phychology-First Aid-Shelter Design-Traps and Snares- Rescure Procedures-Treating Shock-Mountaineering-Close Combat.... Pretty easily read. I highly Suggest. I memorized it and it is a great start.

  • they make colapsible fishing nets

  • Thanks for noting! I have since this video updated my bags and i did away with that net and now have a circular throwing net I made using small lead weights. It took a while to get down but thanks to youtube im good at it now. The plus about the throwing net is you can catch schools of minnows which if under three inches can be swallowed whole and uncooked.

  • Yes i do know this. i have know this since i was a little boy 20 years ago. But i can garantee you this. Blue hats make for easy target practice. And i must correct you on this....

Your rights from nature-creator are un a lien able: You Cannot Place A Lien or take away these rights

Slaves rights given by Gov are inalienable: meaning they can place a lien apon them or take them away

Look up commercial redemption... its very deep

  • Truly great!!. This info should be MANDATORY for every AMERICAN to learn..

  • Great set-up! I would also suggest an Army surplus cooking set. It folds up small and can be used to cook on and the lid is used as a serving tray. Also a trioxane stove with plenty of trioxane. Twenty bucks would cover all of the above with enough trioxane for two weeks worth of cooking or starting fires. And all of it would fit in the leg pocket of a pair of BDUs!

  • Excellent bug out bag! Although I don't recommend bringing a Starwars DVD which will require a DVD player.

  • lol, your the first to notice that :)

  • I dont smoke but in my bug out bag i have a carton of cigarettes for when the Shit hits the fan....

  • LOL flouride tooth paste liquid throzine.

  • ure over compensating

  • no i have alot more than i show. These are just the basics. And i have a bag for every family and friend i hold dear enough to give and extra week too if i can. You can never be too prepared, only underprepared

  • Great pack bro! Only thing necessary that I did not see (Unless I missed it) was water prification tablets/system). Sorry if I missed it and yu have it. Ty for the vid!

  • This is a bugout pack for six people my friend, in case we must leave...and no im not in Florida, more like hickville pa, and yes there are alot of deer, they prolly outnumber people 10X. The toothe paste is for floride...its a joke...you know, hitler used floride on the jews so they would be passive and accept thier fate. And why would i signal a cop? Guy. I dont need anything but one bullet to reach out and touch someone at 4500 feet. One bullet gets another gun, and someone elses bugout bag.

  • i even have 2 russian gasmasks, just in case:P

  • yes i have 4 isreali gas masks and 2 german with side mounts to allow you to aim gun

  • that's cool, only i live in the Netherlands where it's forbidden to own guns:P

  • yea and thats a problem im sure you can figure out. If they take the guns from american people revolution would break out.

  • Great vid man. 5/5. Also I respect your attitude in regards to, "I'd show you my ammo but that's my business." That's how I am too. Thumbs up all the way.

  • Got a new bag yesterday actually from Bug Out Gear; military 1000-denier grade materials and pull zips, and am now moving all the eq I've gathered as far back as 1994 into it. Good basic gear you've got there.

  • Which Leatherman tool do you have?

  • in case the FED prints too much money, hyperinflation ensues...people become desperate and desperate people make desperate actions. Pray for the best but be prepared for the worst

  • TheWrongable is Batman.

  • So I am getting into this bugout shit, and I grab the backpack I figure I could use out of my closet... And its made by a company called Bugout Gear... WTF? Ive had this bag since 2004 or so...

  • i wouldn't bring the tabacco unless your planning to sell it on. the smoke will give you position away and also going cold turkey on you sigs will lead to a distress and a loss of purpose and most worring disorientation. i would advise quiting be for wtshtf

  • yes I agree...or smoking dried dandilion roots ...either way i rarely smoke but in a survival cituation i do have some all natural tabacco for trade or personal use.

  • hell yeah one or those huge bags for like $20 to trade with all of my old flashlights and knives and multitools will come with me so i can trade for some stuff i might not have and i'll also bring a large bottle of whisky to help me get through the winter. later.

  • How about packing a small firstaid kit?

  • 6:45 I do have a small first aid in the video.

  • Great selection of goods to place in you Bug Out Bag. I use what we call a "go-bag" in the ham radio world. Same idea but we add a 2 meter "handy talkie" to communicate on the air. Great job.

    AI4QT

  • I'm from PA too, where about are you from?

  • Downingtown, West Chester, Norristown, Pottstown and or Reading. I am located somewhere in between these cities

  • (cont) waterproof tarp to assist with shelter. also a box of capenter nails for shelter construction. use your hatchet, dont pack a hammer. RICE pack RICE it is filling compact and a 5lb bag will last you well over a week. keep the tobacco can never have enough :) also pack a small pot/pan set 200ft of 5-50 cord, salt/pepper, vegetable seeds, a pocket hamock a few carabeeners and a change of rugged cloths. And read the army survial tm front to back. (im a soldier) Again though Great Kit

  • I actually have the the army total manual and memorized it so i do not need to take it with me but i suggest every survivorist get and read it because it made me decide to make this video. Second my fire blanket also works as a tent and i have two tents but these are included in other bags. I will soon discuss how to make a summer and winter shelter from natural materials. Seeds are included including ones for trade and eating. I find it easier to eat from the land tho grow when you r bugin out

  • (cont) already proficient with killing prey with it, your just going to waste undue energy and enduce frustration. 2: lose the pellet gun. get a sidaarm of your choice for self defence against persons and large animals, i recoment a 1911 or a large revolver. and grab a 22lr rifle, semi auto and a brick of ammoseperate stock from barrel to make it fit in your bag. after the first months your eventually going to be relying primarily on trapping your food. grab a decent (not walmart brand)....

  • I have multiple firearms of differnent calibers. One is for fighting and two are for hunting. They are to be carried by two people only... i did not disclose that about half of bugout bag wieght is taken by ammo wieght alone, yuo can see some ammo in the last 5 seconds of my video if you look closely, i tried to keep it out of video cause my ammo is noones business :)

  • Hey Bud, Before i put in my two cents i just want to say you have one of the nicest most practical and almost identical to my own set up ive seen. Even give me ideas for my own improvements. You have what I call and call my own an Eden Kit. these kits wont just last us a three day / three week even get away, they will surfice if you have to totally start the Fu#& over. hence EDEN. I would just like to make some constructive suggestions. First, lose the slingshot, unless you are.......

  • I'm not sure of it was the gunshots or the monkey sounds, but I LIKE your style!

  • Yes i have, just last weekend i spent 3 days. One day on bike, one day on foot, and one day by kayak. Kayak and bike were much easier than foot. But i assure you I am in shape because being otherwise is not being prepared. This bugout bag is for people to get ideas of what they may need. I just choose to be 100% prepared for anything. I also have another bag filled with food, stakes, tent, and cooking pans. It is much lighter especially cause this bag contains ammo which adds 50 lbs ontop

  • some good ideas. but you could have chosen most items to be lighter weight and more versatile. too much heavy metal, bulky items, items that are unnecessary or doubled up (for instance, your letherman has a screwdriver so your phasor sized screwdriver is only extra weight. or four water containers including a metal canteen from boy scouts could be replaced by one folding container and a purifier). shower? it's much easier to survive with less weight on your back. save room for ammo.

  • This bag is not just for one person, but maybe i should make a video for the light weight bag. Its called a tissue paper with a 308 round wrapped up inside. That will get you any survival item you need. But besides that, yes i need that screwdriver to attach to the end of a spear for spear fishing. Almost anything can and should be used. I have another backpack full of other items that is lighter weight for a female. It contains 3 survival books (Food, Army, Weapons). Its only 150 lbs. Im Ok :)

  • mushroom growing saves lives.

  • You know you can actually pack dryer lint. It will burn pretty nicely as well.

  • I have two packs. Plus I do carry 500 rounds of .22 rifle...plus more for bigger game. I am not willing to disclose all my ammo and firearms for privacy sake. Bullets will only last so long and there is no reason to use a 22 on a squirl or rabbit when my pellet gun can do the job. As for the slingshot... that is for self defense...its quiet and lethal... More videos to come on survival methods of hunting and trapping game and fish.

  • Best bug out bag iver ever seen, you could survive forever great video m8

  • Here is a small tip; you can water proof matches by dipping them in clear fingernail polish and let them dry. You also forgot to pack the most important item you will need, a Bible.

  • I have to agree. I just usually keep that next to my bed and my other next to the john for easy access. I wont forget trust me. In Tough Times you need faith.

  • I have been prepared food wise for years. Its not like i havent seen all this comming. I grow gardens every year and they tend to overgrow food using my rich black compost. So most my garden grows back every year but i like to plant new stuff every year and cross polinate my fruits and vegitables. I just started growing plums and peaches.

  • Bad time's are on the way ive seen you kno wbaout the new world order ect..

  • Prewarned is prearmed. There is just some things i am not comfortable letting anybody know about me unless they are in my inner circle. :)

  • Nice post. thanks. No buggout kit for me tho. I'm staying put. If they come... I will lose. But.. I will stand.

  • I am staying too. But you never know if there is could of fall out heading your way...

  • Where's your bio/chem suit, gas mask, rifle, side arm, ammo, portable handheld HAM radio, and MRE's?

Nice kit but you need a few more items....by the way, you can get a hand crank flashlight too! I notice you mentioned morse code....very good....people should all know morse as well as military (NATO) phonetic alphabet. Antibiotics and a water filter for drinking river/stream water safely.

  • Prewarned is prearmed. There is just some things i am not comfortable letting anybody know about me unless they are in my inner circle. Yes i do have antibiotics, morhphine, bullet wound kits, gas mask and much more. This is just for the basic survival. The more people that can survive the better. Wether they are armed to the teeth or just have enough food to get by. One way or another they must be ready.

  • cigarettes man? if you are considering the possibility of needing this bag, smoking will be your last worry when it's "bug out" time. most of that other stuff is pretty well chosen. good job.

did you know you can buy laser sights for slingshots? cool and not terribly pricey.

  • No I did not know that about slingshots...and yes i do not need to be going thru cold turkey if im trying to concentrate so i have to have some smokes :)

  • I'm wondering where your survival rope is stashed for climbing, making shelters and other necessities.

Good video I'm sure many people aren't nearly as prepared as you but they need to start planning.

  • Its in my other backpack with another med kit and more food supplies and ammo.

  • rope is a nice luxury, but an unneeded extra weight in an "oh shit" bag. many times nature can provide natural rope for such things as shelter building.

  • Exactly. I have my stuff divided up so i can grab
