Everyone critiquing (yes I spelled that wrong, Ugh) the acting of this movie, you obviously don't understand it was a play first. Plays are over the top, and they transferred it beautifully to the movie. And I personally don't see how it was over the top. The actors were serious when they should be and funny when they needed.

Both of you are very, really hard. I'm a ABBA's fan too and I have really enjoyed this film. First, you're wrong when some of them say that no one of the actors is a good singer. You haven't heard the Amanda Seyfried's voice. It's just extraordinary and, being singer, I'm truly jealous and admiring, all at once. The aim of this film was not to present great singers, resuming the ABBA's song. It was to honour this great band. It doesn't matter if the actors aren't good singers.

It's just a tribute putting their songs into a play. Since it is a play/movie, there must be acting in the songs as well. Therefore, the singing isn't always "perfect". They focus on getting the character's point across through song, versus ABBA singing to have beautiful notes only.

There is enough room in the world for mature people to celebrate both Hepburn and Streep. Grow up and see a shrink. If anything. Streep has been much more successful despite the fact that today's older actresses are so easily discarded. Hepburn also did not display such versatility. You should be ashamed of yourself.

ya, they must be, I saw on the bonus of the DVD a picture of the 2. She was also going out with another boy in the show that she got fired from(watch the view interview with Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried part 2 at 2:00), it seems she's going out with a lot of the actors she acts with.
