Why do we have to beg Democrats to support the interests of the people who put them in office? It would be very refreshing to see Democrats speak strongly in favor of progressive reform. These problems have been around for a decades, and solutions have been vetted by every other major nation in the world. Yet, our calm representatives say they are considering options. Campaign finance reform is needed so more congressional leaders speak directly about issues.
