@RussianPIMP64 moron. i bet you wouldnt sticker your honda unless the sticker were the exact same shape as your license plate frame either eh?
ITB's arent too hard to, shall we say, custom fit? and besides. the plenum is the part that has to fit the head, not the itb's. you could get those off a streetbike if you felt so inclined.
@robthebastard actually, I'm really curious about this. I'm assuming since you're adding air to the engine in a larger volume, if you're still running the stock ECU you would be running pretty lean, right? I'm actually in the initial stages of this (rebuilt with arp head/main studs, isis bearings, Tomie 260 cams, solid lifters, bc v springs and retainers), and I was leaning towards a standalone and having a shop tune it. while I know the mechanics, I can't do dick with ecu tuning
What i think is funny is a stock 5.7lt motor puts out around 210hp. (not 100% sure) so dont bitch. But also a 2.0lt can put out the same amout of power and get better gas mileage. So i dont see what some of yalls problems are. If you hate turners dont look them up on YouTube. I drive a 95 s14, and a 93 sas z71.
ALL i can say is, my s13 with sr20de is funner to drive around town then my xb ute with a 351 cause u can rev the shit out of the sr20 all day around town and still be goin under the speed limit (for most part) AND still have fuel to get home lol
@johngorgis This is relative; ITBs require LESS fuel than a large single TB at low RPM's and considerably MORE at higher RPMs. ITBs have a smaller diameter individually when compared to a larger single throttle body, but they have a larger surface area of induction, which explains what I said earlier. It comes down to driving habits. I'd say it's probably "better" without the turbo, which would require more fuel under full boost. Sorry, I'm not the owner, but I think my answer is accurate.
@speediesdad the VPC cost more than a megasquirt. and motec is shit. maybe you should quit basing your opinion of engines on a cliche' bumper sticker.... have you checked out the size of some of the best F1 engines ever made lately? and excuse the slow reply, i haven't checked my youtube in a week. i actually have a social life.... i like to work on my car rather than ragging out other people's on the internet.... pick up a spanner and fuck off.
@speediesdad Geez. I usually don't post comments because there's usually no point to arguing with people on youtube; especially "gurus" who don't know dog turds from piston rings. Your comment makes no sense. Snap-on is arguably the best tool company out there. You don't like small blocks....some small blocks are larger in displacement than big blocks. Some engine families don't even have a small/big differentiation. Some call aluminum blocks or heads small, and cast big. Milk comes in gallons..
I love cars from every make and model on Earth; doesn't matter if it's got a 455 under the hood or a 1.6. If we don't learn to show respect to each other through our love of cars, our hobby, (and for some of us it's our CAREERS) will DIE OUT. The tree huggers are after us and everything we hold dear, and you talk crap about a guy with a NICE setup. I've seen plenty of big blocks get eaten up by Small displacement, turbo engines btw; show some respect and LEARN something.
Sounds like a tractor... Perfect sr :)

Love ITB sure you can get power easier and cheaper from just slapping on a turbo but nothing beats opening the hood and see those trumpets

Gayer than aids

@speediesdad yeah that's a really constructive post dude.... the sockets are snap-on, none of them get sucked into the engine. and you're a twat.
