@TheFrantic5 This game came out a couple weeks before Warcraft 2. I think they both take influence from the musical scores of the old Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn swashbuckler/pirate movies of the 20's, 30's and 40's.

Yeah , though I'm not sure there could be a Donkey Kong 4 since a lot of the team at Rare that made the Rareware DK game's magic have left Rare (I'm not sure why but it could be because they were most involved with mostly DK games and after it was taken away from them well you know I could be wrong though) anyways thats one reason I'm unsure if Rare can make a DKC 4 since of the people who made that amazing Monkey Magic (bad pun sorry) left and I'm unsure if it can be done withou them. *2bcont.*

This is the game that got me hooked on pirate-themed...everything as a kid. I still love DKC2 and imo it's the best of the DKC trilogy. Sure DKC has it's moments and DKC3 was...different, but this stands out particularly because of the soundtracks (to me at least). Plus, I always liked playing as Dixie as a kid. ^_^ (Yes, DKC3 had Dixie as well, but DKC2 had the quick and nimble Diddy.)
