I have a pretty good / special relationship with the Lord. I read the book Heaven is for Real, and I believe strongly that it is legitimate. The only part that confused me is that the medical surgery report does not say Colton's heart or lungs stopped... However, I am aware that God can work in any way He chooses. I think the only reason you don't believe Colton is that the picture of Jesus in the book is white. Jesus appears to you any way He thinks you need it, & He appeared white to me.

I think it's really awesome you are making sure people's claims are Biblical, however, Colton expressly says in the book that Jesus didn't have wings and that he "went up and down like an elevator". And never is Jesus described as being white, in fact the only description they really give is a painting by a little girl that's in the book and he just looks like a Jewish guy, and Jews can be light or dark. It doesn't matter what Jesus looks like, God commands that we make no images for him.

I have a pretty good / special relationship with the Lord. I read the book Heaven is for Real, and I believe strongly that it is legitimate. The only part that confused me is that the medical surgery report does not say Colton's heart or lungs stopped... However, I am aware that God can work in any way He chooses. I think the only reason you don't believe Colton is that the picture of Jesus in the book is white. Jesus appears to you any way He thinks you need it, & He appeared white to me.

I think it's really awesome you are making sure people's claims are Biblical, however, Colton expressly says in the book that Jesus didn't have wings and that he "went up and down like an elevator". And never is Jesus described as being white, in fact the only description they really give is a painting by a little girl that's in the book and he just looks like a Jewish guy, and Jews can be light or dark. Colton pointed out the Jesus from Akiane's painting "Prince of Peace". He said that was the Jesus he saw, and if you look at the painting, Jesus isn't white. He resembles more of a middle eastern appearance. The kid wasn't lying and neither was Akiane.

Sorry to also let u all know that Whites and Asians were called the "Gentiles" in the bible...and as our bible teaches, there will be a place for the FAITHFUL Gentiles in our Father's Kingdom. Many people do not like to accept that our saviour is black. Not teaching children the truth, for the sake of feeling too superior to blacks, is an abomination. @jessleighmtjoy satan's tactics seem to be working for many modern day christians...(which by the way, were comparable to nazarenes of the old testament)...the lesson is not "love, love, love"...no we are in a spiritual war against good and evil. We can't walk around blinded, loving satan and his children, allowing our faith to be compromised. Jesus was chosen by our eternal Father to give man chance at eternal salvation. The sacrafice of Christ was to replace the animal sacrafices before that were found in the Old testament...people would commit sin, make animal sacrafices (as the European Jews do, today) to atone for their sins...

exists. And the word "disciple" means to teach.. thats why Jesus called his folllowers disciples because he was their teacher. And plus Jesus had not yet died on the cross so "christianity" could not have really come to pass yet. Calling yourself a Christian is just simply putting yourself in a catagory to explain to others your religious beliefs. And the girl who painted that painting of Jesus, her name is Akiane Kramarik and she started seeing visions and dreams of heaven at just 4 years old and she painted that painting which is featured in the book when she was 11. You can doubt all you want but I believe Coltons story with all my heart.
