  • I have to give an amazing thank you to whatever sound guy had the foresight to record this performance with such clarity in 1967. The clarity is as good as anything you hear today--44 years later.

  • Dang no comments since my last one. Lol

  • This song needs to get popular again!!!

  • @DylanJorden1234 I agree. My idea -- music from the 1960s needs to get widely popular again so that we can turn on the radio and hear fantastic songs like this one, not the crap "artists" record now.

  • this song was also much eariler than 67. It was 1st released as an acoustic & then later one drums were added. I think it was first featured on the Wed. Morning 3AM album but someone may want to correct me on this.

  • this is June 1967 not 66

  • gift for you kouba

  • i love this musi very much ,i an siking in ti QQ396509339

  • Why do you say it was "first featured in 1967" when it was initially released in '64/'65? Also, >>duo<<

  • @vampyros1 , Thank you for your feedback. the song was first featured in the film. That fact has nothing to do with the song's release date.

  • @spsyed You're speaking strictly in context of it being featured in a "Hollywood movie". I think it was plenty "featured" as a #1 hit single and also title track of a breakthrough album that preceeded any movie release by more than a year. Thanks for posting the video.

  • @vampyros1 , thanks for your feedback. It is a rare gem, and may continued to be featured elsewhere, and probably remixed and released.

  • @spsyed The song hasn't been rare since it's 1965 re-release when it was first featured as a hit recording, however, this rendition from the Monterey festival is new to many ears. Wonderful video!

  • @vampyros1 , you are right. It a gem, just like their other song 'Late in the evening' also available on this channel. Copy/paste the link watch?v=c-MFczYwiQI . Thanks again for the comments/feedback.

  • The Graduate when it first came out was..too risque for children to watch. I remember our parents wouldn't let us watch when it first came on TV back in the '60s. But One night they went out & the movie was shown again on TV lol and of course if you tell kids NO...they will do the opposite. LOL ..so of course we watched it. All of us kids fell in love with S & G music..Great memories...Thanks :-)

  • Their voice really touching my heart when i listen the song.(even though this song is really really old for me but i still love it..)thanks for sharing ....

  • I don't like older music, but this one definitely an exceptions. I love this song when I heard it in The Graduate.
