Do you think that if someone knows how to drive a manual transmission car, it will be a little easier to ride a motorcycle? I know, I'm a n00b, I have never ridden a motorcycle only been on the back a few times
OK i live in ohio im thinking about getting a motorcycle because i have to choose between a car or a bike. im only 15 so i want to know if i am the right age if i should get one and what type?
the title says "Learn to Ride a Motorcycle Safely". The last word "safely" also should point out that you should not wear jeans and sneekers on a motorcycle. Always wear leather or similar specialized motorcycle outfit and boots. Sorry but the video does not give me the impression the driver is sitting in a relaxed position with his underarms almost resting on his legs. A comfortable position is when your whole body, including arms, are in a natural and ergonomic position.
Hi , i have a question, i realy want to get my self a 2006 Kawasaki 636, but i have never been in a bike before i dont even know how to drive a manual car, how hard would it be 4me, can i learn fast or u think idont have a chance, am 5;9 n weight 167. hpefully u can help me thank you n sorry for buggin..
You pass a test that proves that you won't drop your bike? This guy is a moron. You are evaluated on braking, cornering, swerving and a tight turn in a limited space. He is implying that his book is better. This is a sales pitch. Take the class. You won't regret it.
WRONG some exercises are 30 minutes long, others are less time. This guy thinks his book is better? Don't fall for this sales pitch. TAKE THE CLASS. Anyone can ride a bike fast in a straight line. It takes skills to ride at slow speeds because the motorcycle is less stable. Don't listen to this BS. Take the class and learn the RIGHT WAY.
We all know that it takes practice to become proficient at riding. Take the class. They teach every aspect of riding. Turning your head and looking where you want to go, shifting, clutch control, throttle control, cornering, braking, tight turns and so much more. The class gives you the basic foundation to become a great rider. Money well spent. Please don't learn on you own or have your friend teach you unless he or she is an MSF rider coach. GREAT CLASS, even if you have experience, you learn.
take the class....especially if youve never been on a bike before. the instructors can give you feedback that helps you to learn faster, and they teach you things that you wouldnt figure out on your own for a while....its worth the money, take the class.
Take the course, it is NECESSARY! You'll learn more in that course than you from this book he is peddling. The feedback you'll receive is invaluable; this book should be used in conjunction with it, but never as a replacement.
There are other classes that are longer but the basic rider course is the first one you should attend. After that , you can look for other classes held at race tracks that teach you to be smooth, safe and fast, but the basic lessons need to be instilled in you before you go to the next level. Good luck in your quest to become a better rider. motorcycles rule. and are so much fun. Ride Safe everyone!!!
You are crazy if you think this guy knows what he is talking about. Take the class. It is not useless.
You will learn so much more than what this guy has in his book. Any moron can write a book but it doesn't mean he is an expert. Isn't you life and safety worth the price of the class? Very valuable learning experience. I'll bet this guy would look like a novice on a race track.
thanks alot man

Great videos, but if you're going to be talking about safety, you shouldn't be riding around in blue jeans and cloth shoes.

@TheXsanchez: If you start on something smaller, and used, you'll be able to learn on it without fear of damaging your beautiful $7000 bike.
