  • LEGEND

  • he is so hot even at his age here the thing i like to do to him mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • An announcer who could never even remotely achieve what the gentleman in front of the mic has managed so brilliantly since the 1940s.....well, there you go !

  • Great tune and Andy did it just fine. He's one of the best.

  • great to watch

  • what a great singer andy williams is. unique voice.

  • Fantastic singer and a fantastic man had the pleasure of not only singing with him but being invited to Langhams as well, then attending a party in his honour in Noel Cowards house in Eaton Square

  • FABULOUS! Andy really still had it all back then. There are several versions of him singing "Moon River" up here in 2007-2009. What a remarkable career. He even did one of his live Christmas Shows last Winter!

  • Old? Shock of white hair? Can´t get the high notes?

What does this stupid man say for a SHIT!! Andy is brilliant, one of the best singers in the business!!

  • Why does the commentator make a comment about the high notes? They sound amazing, especially considering the age of Andy Williams! He is, and always shall be, a legend! I hope I can sing that well at his age...or even at my age now lol

  • @MrMusic1983 I agree about the commentator's unnecessary comment. Some things are better left unsaid. Andy always sings wonderfully well.

  • He still has a nice voice. It's great to see all the young people dancing there they KNOW real talent when they see it. There have been many wonderful singers but I just LOVE Andy's voice it's unique and beautiful. If I had a youth potion I'd share it with Andy he really makes the world a more beautiful and wonderful place by his singing. The BEST of life and HEALTH to you Andy. Love you! -Erich

  • Andy, I've loved you for 45 years, and counting!!!!

  • Andy....youre beautiful!!!

  • it is a shame that the era of easy listening music will be consigned to the unwanted archives, because this is through the evolution of modern music.

  • He first recorded that way back in 1970, I often heard it on the radio even though I was only very young, I also remember some of his other tracks as well like 'Moon River', amazingly talented singer.

  • Isn't Andy wonderful? He is a terrific performer with an unusually beautiful voice. I am so glad to have lived in an era when I could hear this one in a million singer. Thank you, Andy. Thank you for all the wonderful moments you have given all of us. You are just terrific!

  • Just great, thanks for posting

  • the emperor of easy makes it so easy !!!

  • i saw andy williams in nevada and i love him i have all his lp and i going to take then wien i die and claudine i have love then both sent i was 8 yeas iand now i am 50

  • JULIE1956,

You are so lucky to see him twice! I'm green with envy. hehe

I have to disagree with you however ... I am Andy Williams' number one fan. Okay, we can all share this honour. :)

  • Okay we will share, isnt he just fantastic !!

  • JULIE1956,

    Absolutely, we'll share this honour!

He sang MacArthur Park? Bonus, I'd love to hear this too.

There is not a song that Andy Williams can't sing and make it gold.

  • count me in, I am also a number one fan and love to sing his songs. He's so fantastic !!!

  • There's nobody better!!! still waiting for someone to post a macArthur park video he brought the house down singing this at his concerts and his female drummer Rosa was fantastic.

  • cool i went watching him in 2007 in liverpool

took my grandad to see him as a suprise

  • Fabulous Andy! What an uncalled, snide remark from that idiotic announcer. Envy doesn't look good on anyone, shame on you.

  • @roxyrowboat Couldn't agree more. THank you so much for pointing this out. I stated that the presenters comments about Andy's high notes was absurd (the high notes are absolutely perfect - in turn, incredibily secure. If this was the kind of commentating that was given for TOTP, then it's just aswell it's ended. Seems a very ageist remark.

  • @MrMusic1983 ~ I agree 100%!! I've got teenagers who like his music, which only proves that his talent far outweighs his age.

  • sounds as good as when young

  • the best!!!!

  • That was really GREAT! Thanks again, engreena!

I'm from Catalonia and I've had the joy to see Andy live in the UK on 4 occasions (2002, 2005 & 2007 -2-). He has kept for sure his powerful voice and high spirits! Andy is one of a kind!

  • Oh you lucky person seeing Andy 4 times. Yes, he certainly has kept his powerful voice and he sure is one of a kind. I was enthralled watching him in concert, I needed to be surgically removed from the theatre as I didn't want the evening to end :-)

  • i'd love to see him, i live in Brisbane Australia...

    wish he'd come here...

    what a legend...

  • The greatest voice ever in our time!

  • Great song, great guy and great post - thank you! Hope I look that good at 70! :o)

  • Andy will be 80 in December and he sure doesn't look it :-)

  • My goodness 80! Wow he looks great! Eck where is my oil of Ulay? :o) Thanks again Engreena!

  • this clip is from 7 years ago so he was around 72/3 then

  • He looks just as good now as in 2000.

  • Hey Steve Wright - his high notes were okay for a 70 something lol.

  • been looking for this song for ages many thanks!

  • You are most welcome :-)
