Yes, the pain of having no friends from school. Being home schooled for all your life you begin to have trouble with social interaction, to the point you can't make friends yourself. The only reason Doug has the few friends he knows is because he was friends with Jeremy since they were little kids. Though he only has a few friends he holds them much more close to himself. When they told him to leave he really felt betrayed because he held them so close.
