Ugghhh I hate these when I was in mammoth cave [search it up its the longest cave on earth] a cave spider/cricket jumped into my shirt and I peed my pants because it started crawling up my neck
I was in bed minding my own business, reading a book with my cat nearby. Suddenly, she looked up over the headboard past me. I followed her gaze!!!!!!!!! A cave cricket was just above the bed near the ceiling. I have these in my house, but the 4 cats make short work of them. After knocking it down with a broom and killing it, I sleep now with one eye open.
this is HILARIOUS! I had a similar experience last night with one of these assholes. I nearly emptied out half a bottle of bleach bathroom cleaner trying to kill it from a distance to no avail, I finally had to toss a copy of the wall street journal over it to step on it. so. freaking. gross.
i went into a water drainage tunnel that is like 2000ft long and its was about five feet tall and five feet wide this things were every where at one point i fking hate them they scared the shit out of me..
You dont know fear until you feel one crawling up the side of your leg. When you do kill one, it bleeds yellow ooze. My sister and I had an epic battle against them in my basement.
I have these things in my basement. I found 20 last night and 31 another night. They are probably reproducing its scaring me. They are also realllyyyyy ugly so its hard to kill them.
@tehetahatoho They reproduce outside in the soil, they love dark, damp areas which is why they're in your basement. They're harmless to humans! lol I don't mind them, saves me money because I catch them and feed them to my spider! hahaha
there is a lot of these at my dads old trailer these things jump so far and fast lighting cant hit them and once u do kill one and come back to the same spot there is like 3 others eating it
The fact a girl made this video, with all the commentary and editing..." skull snatcher" haha it's by far my favorite youtube video to date haha thumbs up
Awesome. I just saw one of these beasts in my basesment. I only needed a few therapy sessions to recover, but I'm ok now. Yes, it jumped at me. I learned that this is really its only defense: to scare its predator. Effective.
I absolutely HATE those damn things! They've been creeping around my house lately. Whenever I see one, I stomp on it until it's completely obliterated. They don't get a 2nd chance at life from me.
these things freak me out to the point where I get an adrenaline rush if I get close to one by accident. The only way I can deal with them is by shooting em with a bb gun lol
I... WANT... THAT... QUARTER!!!

Hi, JenJen2083, you mixed it up quite good with "Jaws" music and all that goofy but effective attempt to catch it.
I understand your feeling very well.
I basically love insects but this one "Humpback Cricket(Cave Cricket)".
I still remember the thumb-sized one right by my toe in the bathroom of my cousin's house, a scary childhood memory flash, ha-ha.

You Know What?
There was "the cave cricket fever" in this summer in my country.
That cave crickets was being brought out a public issue.
Since some thousand of them covered up a whole apartment building in a local area, they were appearing more than ever all around the nations.
Experts were saying it was because of usually longer monsoon season this summer with much more humidity and much less sunlight.
