@russochristine1 As a Dr we don't assume this..however I really doubt u will fake a seizure with a dance move or have an allergy to the wind and the direction east. Give us all a little more credit than that. This isnt an attack on anyone...it shows all the unneeded and wastful crap people try and they hurt the people who really need help!

0:31 LMFAO!! Xanax actually is an anti-epileptic, that's what benzodiazepines are ;) But if she's having seizures she might wanna consider cutting back on the crack... hahaha.
@RocknCorruptrepublic it is a benzo but as far as i know it isn't used that much for epilepsy- the primary indication for alprazolam is anxiety. i think they use ativan in hospitals for seizures (a bdz) but i don't know that many doctors rx oral xanax for seizures...
the doc and nurses knew I wasn't faking because I was not demanding pain meds or anything...I only asked for a vicodin or percocet politely once, because during a seizure in the ambulance...I twisted my bad knee and it hurt like fuck. The doctor was all..."I will not give you NARCOTICS for your knee!" I was so mad, he was an ass...it really did hurt. Right now I am on klonopin and on temp disability

I just got diagnosed a few weeks ago and was in the hospital for eeg's and cat scans and stuff. I even had to spend 3 days in a psychiatric unit(signed myself in) to learn how to cope with the stress and anxiety from them...had my first one in public yesterday and I was soooo embarrassed. continued..
My sister worked in a Clinc, One day a girl came in saying she was having seizures and she needed sometype of pills (forgot what type) for it and that her mom also haves seizures (the mom really did) so the docter told the girl that they were going o give her a shot that would give the girl a seizure so they could see what type it was (contines on next post down)
(What the girl didn't know was that the shot wasn't anything that would give someone a seizure) the docter told her that it would take affact fast. Few seconds later the girl was on the ground doing the best fake seizure that they ever. when they helped her up she asked for the pills again.
@6mon25key92 anyone with real seizures would know that an injection doesn't induce seizures....they would need to do a CST (convulsive shock therapy) or do a 24 hour video EEG(which I had) where they stick white gummy stuff in your hair and wrap your head in gauze...so you look like Piccolo from DBZ.
@cyanleopard It's psychosomatic, like conversion disorder. People with depression, anxiety, or some kind of trauma get them. A good chunk of seizure cases are actually pseudo-seizures in that vein.
@revelationtek3 Yea I get that, but would not there not be easier ways thin trying to fake a seizure? I have only seen some have a seizure ones and all he wanted to do after it happened was sleep. Me and his boyfriend had to basically carry him back to the house.
