Amen Brother. The thief imagery is always used in strict context with the post-tribulation day of the Lord in every instance. Matt 24, I thess 5, II Peter 3. Where is the pre-trib association to be found in relation to the thief analogy then? Absolutely nowhere! Curiously, pre-tribbers base their imminence doctrine on a verse that is in strict context with Christ's post-trib descent! Very strange to any logical reader of the Word.
He says no man knows the day or the hour, but when his disciples asked him about his return he told them what to look for to know when his coming is near. He also said that it will be immediately after the tribulation. Mark ch. 13 and Matt ch. 24.
