That's no help. Thousands of 'tutorials' muck about with images. The thing that us green-horns need to know is how to link pages, how to use database.

The presentation stuff is a side issue.

@FourTrotters linking pages is the easiest part. Any image, text or div the properties panel on the botom of the page contains 2 fields "title" and "link" entering a hyperlink into the link field will link that object to a website. Selecting the folder icon will allow you to link that object to a local file on your machine. Then you just make sure that that file and the page are uploaded to the same server and your good to go.

i created a new folder on my desktop giving it a name and the folder was empty so i can make a new site so i can practise doing dreamwaver tutorial.i opened the folder in dreamweaver and it had everything that was on the dekstop,i went the the local files to delete everything that came in with the folder,and when i went to my desktop everything was deleted and moved into the recylce bin!!!!!why did that happen
