I doubt he can win. The producers/judges REALLY want a FEMALE WINNER and will manipulate their comments to favour the girls. If they do give any good praise to the boys, they'll edit it out. This is what happened to Katee last year, they edited out a lot of her positive feedback so the viewers at home couldn't hear. Then they just overpraised the boys like crazy to ensure a hip hop dancer would win.

Last year, Adam Shankman told Katee that if he drew up the perfect dancer, it would be her. Basically, any of the great comments she received were edited out in the broadcast so that the viewers at home were manipulated into believing the better dancers are the hip hop boys (Joshua, Twitch) when it was clear that Katee was a better dancer/performer than either of them. They were scared that Katee might actually win (goes against Nigel's hidden agenda of a hip hop winner!).

Next year, I bet they'll be pushing for a ballet dancer OR a female ballroom dancer to win. The show is VERY PREDICTABLE if you are a SYTYCD US fan. The Canadian version has less bias/hidden agenda. Janette had the best chance of going all the way but she got surprisingly eliminated.

While I agree with a lot of folks that Evan reminds them of Gene Kelly, I think that he is in some ways more like Donald O'Connor who often danced with Kelly. O'Connor was every bit as good as Gene was in fundamentals and technique, and he was brilliant at doing the kind of quasi-comic solos that this fantastic young dancer also does. Regardless, whether it's Gene Kelly or Donald O'Connor, Evan Kasprzak is the incarnation of that great American-style of expressive, humorous, joyful dance we love

Its so funny to see this video on youtube and people commenting on it because I remember Evan competing this at competitions. I'm almost positive he got a platinum almost everytime! Man!! this guy's amazing!! when he performs its like he's immersed himself in it...everything comes out naturally!! i love those facial expressions and the fact that he dances like a man. saw him on SYTYCD... he's proved he can dance anything. tough judge Mia wasnt just impressed coz he's adorable; he did Mia's contemp dance routine effortlessly!!

I'd looked on the internet several times in the past year for something, ANYTHING about this amazing dancer. I so love the old classic movies, and I nearly fell out of my seat when I first saw him on SYTYCD. He was on my mind while I watched the auditions, and when I saw him back, I nearly fell out of my seat again! I was soooo thrilled to see him make it to the Top 20. He makes me feel the way I always feel when I watch the old films. I really MISS that old stuff, and he brings it back to me.

Evan trained at Juliana's Academy of Dance and both guys are alumni of the Broadway Theatre Project. Ryan is a grad of Marymount Manhattan College in NYC and Evan attends Illinois Wesleyan University.
