You are under order literally to go to school, if you do not you are a truant. And then the recruiter gives a speech at the auditorium and you have to go (or alienate yourself which usually is bad). Your phone number and your personal info becomes accessible to recruiter but you will not be warned. In College, but not HS they taught a "do you have a minute courtesy" when calling people. But a minor does not have this tactic taught him/her. Do not reward people who have made you the prey sheeple!

@Combatphoto1 Your personal info is given to the recruiter even when the principal does not want to (this happened to be the case at my HS because it was predominantly black and the principal felt the recruiters go after black kids more aggressively to his dismay (he was black also)). In fact I got phone calls from black recruiters who thot I was black (am white). It was an interesting experience and no one warned me to expect the calls. I feel so sorry for poor people who feel they have to join

I would say that I agree with not letting the recruiters into schools but for a different reason. A lot of kids who join don't know what they're doing. When you put them over there with you they're scared as shit as any fresh kid would be. Give em a few years to live life and then go get em. The ones who are ready will come find you and join. That's how I did it.

You are under order literally to go to school, if you do not you are a truant. And then the recruiter gives a speech at the auditorium and you have to go (or alienate yourself which usually is bad). Your phone number and your personal info becomes accessible to recruiter but you will not be warned. In College, but not HS they taught a "do you have a minute courtesy" when calling people. But a minor does not have this tactic taught him/her. Do not reward people who have made you the prey sheeple!

@Combatphoto1 Your personal info is given to the recruiter even when the principal does not want to (this happened to be the case at my HS because it was predominantly black and the principal felt the recruiters go after black kids more aggressively to his dismay (he was black also)). In fact I got phone calls from black recruiters who thot I was black (am white). It was an interesting experience and no one warned me to expect the calls. I feel so sorry for poor people who feel they have to join

this is stupid to ban recruiters because of the fact is an all volunteer military. its like all the college representatives that come to high schools. they come to let you know the options they have available to you when you graduate. how is a military recruiter any different? he is coming to let you know the options of his military branch after you get out of high school. when they come to the school you dont even have to talk to them or go near them if you dont want to.

Repaired as in shrink the scope of the federal government, enforce our immigration laws, put our army on our border, put regulations on business and also give them tax cuts based only upon how many employees they have and how well they are treated, and dissolve the Federal Reserve, it serves no purpose. i am currently in the Marines and i feel that we shouldnt have to be in Iraq or Afghan, but because of idiots causing problems in those countries we need to be there until they can actually protect themselves. its our fault that the previous justice system though unfair was changed to the way it is today. this is why we need to be there to finish what we started so they can do their own job.

I would say that I agree with not letting the recruiters into schools but for a different reason. A lot of kids who join don't know what they're doing. When you put them over there with you they're scared as shit as any fresh kid would be. Give em a few years to live life and then go get em. The ones who are ready will come find you and join. That's how I did it.

Offer them a military salary and it's very inticing to someone who can't even afford their xbox live subscription. Some kids have wanted to join since forever and it's all they want to do. However, many join for the wrong reasons because they are given over-inflated positives by recruiters.

I support the military 100-percent. The vast majority of recruiters are honest in their dealings with applicants. Presentations to school students are typically to high school aged students--juniors and seniors.
O'Reilly is a jerk, though. I'm Conservative but people like him give Conservatives a bad name. He's a loud mouth.
