Karma and reincarnation goes hand in hand. It is due to once karma some are poor, rich, healthy, weak, brillant, dump, retarded, blind, handicap, suffering and so on. No person in this world remains with injustice. Justice is done to them by nature automatically in their birth cycles. One who is criminal in this life and maybe the current law cannot punish that criminal, but nature will punish him in his next life in the same way that he had done the crime.

Is there a way to remember past lives? I had a supposedly psychic friend once who told me that he could see into my past lives. He told me that this is at least my third life and that I was a man in both of the previous two lives. I don't know about much of it though. It seems kind of improbable to me, but I was raised Christian so this isn't really a part of my cultural background. That's no reason to say it's false, though.
@Cereghini Most of the case studies of Dr. Stevenson were done with children around 4 years of age. Usually they are people who tend to talk about their past lives often at a young age, but they generally tend to stop talking about their past lives as the get older.
However, "past life regression therapy" may allow you to recall past lives. However, there are very few cases which one can regard as 'reliable' in those circumstances.

How do you explain that in Near Death Experiences (and/or resuscitations) that each individual reports the presence of the deity that they grew up with? Christians see Jesus, Hindus see Shiva or Vishnu, etc.
Also, I had a friend who'd been clinically dead and revived and she said there was nothing. It was like a black void. No light, no person, no anything.
How do you account for that?

@composerdoh Yes, in fact I think the type of experiences you are mentioning are usually hallucinations, and easily explained by psychology. Only a minority of cases fit the unusual category.

The premises for this argument are only 'suggestive' of the conclusion. In fact I think NDEs are pretty poor premises.
Rebirth would be clinically having paramedics perform recessitation on an individual such as being drowned to death. The person is not breathing and has remained that way for a specific amount of time but then being called out a second time and a third time, because death has accured at least once. Rebirth is possible in this case including brain injury and slow functioning.
One glaring flaw. You assume, as do most, that the consciousness is just another form of energy subject to material laws.Since it may well function at some other level of reality it could be beyond vibrational descriptions of its makeup. In fact, many spiritual teachings hold that it is permanent and thus not subject to some sort of energetic support structure. There is no evidence that it is or is not.

As an atheist I do somewhat believe in rebirth due to my knowledge in quantum mechanics. In this bizarre world, particles are constantly popping into and out of existence. The only explanations for this are rebirth or the notion of parallel universes. Maybe "reincarnation" is the afterlife for everything in nature including the universe itself! Who knows?

Studies supporting memory formation as alteration in synaptic transmission were done using mollusks, and whilst it is risky to generalise from mullosks to humans, the explanation still doesn't provide and answer for past life recall.

However, Stephenson's work is 'suggestive of reincarnation,' only, they are curious anomalies which have little other explanation - and there are thousands of them. Another important aspect of Stephenson is his work on birth defects and the previously mentioned cases which suggest reincarnation, there is a high correlation with possible reincarnated cases and related birth defects.

What is the soul, exactly? The consciousness? I can only see it as the reason I am me and you are you. The reason I have a path into my own mind and you have a path into yours. How would science ever explain that?
@DoctorNigger Soul is not the word used for a reason, it denotes something specific and confined, an idea which is not dependent. The mind/consciousness arises as a result of causes and conditions. Science would explain the idea of 'path into mind' as subjective experience. The question is, are the experiences of mind concordant and the same among multiple individuals? If so, then we can start to make logical conclusions based upon consistency, like we can with rebirth and the existence thereof.
In all likelyhood the probability of reincarnation upon this planet maybe statistically very unlikely. If the exact same pattern of atoms, molecules re-emerge at some future time thru a descendant. More likely that if the universe (multiverse) is infinite

Though I will say that from my time as post graduate in philosophy and visitor of various mystical traditions, that we must be very careful what we call science and what we claim is proved versus what we choose to believe because the evidence is sufficient for someone personally. While I am not sure about your claim of proof of reincarnation, you do your credibility by gently showing another that subjective experience does not mean that we cannot talk about objective truth. Even if all we can talk about at any given time is our subjective takes on a small bit of objective truth, I think science and math and reasoning has shown that the value is great. Not just a human being's soul is reborn, the poppulation growth is explained by foms of life being reborn as humans. Another explaination is that in between about 100 - 200 years ago the population size had decreased, there must be a certain reason why all those people werent reborn immediatley - they are all collectively being reborn recently. There are so many explainations, you cant make a trend into rebirth or population size, there is so much more depth to this than numbers.
Look at the doctrines that teach re-birth. They all state that for "infinite amount of years" which i assume that infinite is trillions and trillion and more non-stop of trillions of years ago, people have been around. This is where even Christians, Muslims, and Jewish, agree with science, which proves we've been around no longer than 6.4 billion years. Now how we came about, thats a different story.

2. We are being reborn not being taken over by another entity. We have not yet identifed the soul - it is the soul that as it leaves one body, we die and as it enters another, it lives.
i know that it is possible to 'download' other people's minds .. to be taken over by another person's thoughts and charisma .. happens all the time. It can also happen via tv or music or art , that you can be shaped by another's mind. Whether this can happen by reincarnation... ? i remember emerging from bright light as a child.. but no memories of events.. and when i had a NDE i flew up into light.. nothing more.
in reality biologically human body cannot be reincarnated. therefore the thoughts which are stored in the earth magnetic field as expalined earlier in comments no 458 ,will flow or reload into human mind with the similar vibration level . this is similar to tape recoder where a persons songs or speech are stored in magnetic form when replayed stored sound converted back to original sound. thus human beings are like tape recoder a medium to express his own thoughts or other people thoughts .
its impossible for everyone and everything to have origionaly bin somthing else because then their would have only be a certain number of animals , humans ect on earth. which is obviously not true because you can just look around all populations continue to keep growing. feel free to correct me if you think theres somthing wrong with that.
You are thinking of animals as being specifically what they are, as opposed to what they are made of. Humans are not just humans, they are an arrangement of billions of atoms. Each atom, will be discarded in waste over time, and every 3 years every cell in our body is renewed, and we have a different physical appearance. The same is true for consciousness. These parts can be in anything. Animal atoms can be compost or a human can digest them and turn them into it's energy, etc.
Thoughts are energy which cannot be destroyed and our thoughts are stored in the earth magnetic field through electro magnetic rays emitted from our body. When a another person with similar body vibration level born and starts to talk and the thoughts stored in the earth magnetic field will flow freely into his mind and he tells other person experience as if its is his own. This explains reincarnation
as i said biological body cannot be reincarnated, and analogy to that theory is a tape recorder, where sound are stored in magnetic form and when player is played sound is converted back to the original sound.
Of course, most other explanations are from a first person point of view. Explaining from the inside experience out. This could be a possible opposite explanation.

Is there a way to remember past lives? I had a supposedly psychic friend once who told me that he could see into my past lives. He told me that this is at least my third life and that I was a man in both of the previous two lives. I don't know about much of it though. It seems kind of improbable to me, but I was raised Christian so this isn't really a part of my cultural background. That's no reason to say it's false, though.

@Cereghini Most of the case studies of Dr. Stevenson were done with children around 4 years of age. Usually they are people who tend to talk about their past lives often at a young age, but they generally tend to stop talking about their past lives as the get older.
However, "past life regression therapy" may allow you to recall past lives. However, there are very few cases which one can regard as 'reliable' in those circumstances.

How do you explain that in Near Death Experiences (and/or resuscitations) that each individual reports the presence of the deity that they grew up with? Christians see Jesus, Hindus see Shiva or Vishnu, etc.
Also, I had a friend who'd been clinically dead and revived and she said there was nothing. It was like a black void. No light, no person, no anything.
How do you account for that?

Rebirth would be clinically having paramedics perform recessitation on an individual such as being drowned to death. The person is not breathing and has remained that way for a specific amount of time but then being called out a second time and a third time, because death has accured at least once. Rebirth is possible in this case including brain injury and slow functioning.

One glaring flaw. You assume, as do most, that the consciousness is just another form of energy subject to material laws.Since it may well function at some other level of reality it could be beyond vibrational descriptions of its makeup. In fact, many spiritual teachings hold that it is permanent and thus not subject to some sort of energetic support structure. There is no evidence that it is or is not.

As an atheist I do somewhat believe in rebirth due to my knowledge in quantum mechanics. In this bizarre world, particles are constantly popping into and out of existence. The only explanations for this are rebirth or the notion of parallel universes. Maybe "reincarnation" is the afterlife for everything in nature including the universe itself! Who knows?

NDEs are "near" death experiences and the author doesn't seem to see that. And they are readily explained by neuroscience and prove nothing whatsoever. However, Stephenson's work is 'suggestive of reincarnation,' only, they are curious anomalies which have little other explanation - and there are thousands of them. Another important aspect of Stephenson is his work on birth defects and the previously mentioned cases which suggest reincarnation, there is a high correlation with possible reincarnated cases and related birth defects.

Reincarnation does not happen. Demons manifest in people because they are the disembodied fallen angels from long ago. What is the soul, exactly? The consciousness? I can only see it as the reason I am me and you are you. The reason I have a path into my own mind and you have a path into yours. How would science ever explain that?

@DoctorNigger Soul is not the word used for a reason, it denotes something specific and confined, an idea which is not dependent. The mind/consciousness arises as a result of causes and conditions. Science would explain the idea of 'path into mind' as subjective experience. The question is, are the experiences of mind concordant and the same among multiple individuals? If so, then we can start to make logical conclusions based upon consistency, like we can with rebirth and the existence thereof.

In all likelyhood the probability of reincarnation upon this planet maybe statistically very unlikely. If the exact same pattern of atoms, molecules re-emerge at some future time thru a descendant. More likely that if the universe (multiverse) is infinite
we will live again with no memories of ever having known we were before. We can not experience the passage of time when we are dead (unborn).

In my opinion, religions coexist on each other. for example, let's take God and reincarnation. When you die, there is a point where you meet God, and God chooses for you on whether or not to go back to earth to do something you regretted you never go to do.

Hi. Enjoyed your presentation of the concepts, however really was distracted by the number of spelling errors and how sometimes the slides were cluttered with text. @seethelightofgod Not really. It's mostly based upon experience which people have in compromised mental experiences which can be linked to other lives which you would not otherwise know anything about, which also have certain non-genetic hereditary aspects, like having the same birthmarks.
The Tibetan Tulku reincarnation system is probably the best piece of evidence. You can probably find some books about it, but I may make a video on it sometime in the future.

@yadsik I would very much enjoy you to make a video on the tibetan Tulka. Though I will say that from my time as post graduate in philosophy and visitor of various mystical traditions, that we must be very careful what we call science and what we claim is proved versus what we choose to believe because the evidence is sufficient for someone personally. Certainly, there are plenty of cases where one who takes that position is vindicated. Even in hard science -- see Newton vs Leibniz.

Not unless you are working with a strict definition of science from the start and function your argument around that and other strict definitions. You need a definition of what is science, what is proof, and all of these things I will probably address in my next video.

I mean you can turn off a lightswitch and that will stop the flow, but in a second you can flip it back up and you have light. We are made of energy and we do go on. @Khamila1 all objects are viewed subjectively, yet it is possible for anyone to speak with as little subjectivity as possible. Language can correlate to the objective world in a direct way. Linguistic transformations show how logic delineates the relationship between material objects in a mathematical way. Misinterpretation is not a question in objective study of science. I admit that this video has some ideas taken for granted and when I do another I will adjust that fact. Proof is paramount.

While I am not sure about your claim of proof of reincarnation, you do your credibility by gently showing another that subjective experience does not mean that we cannot talk about objective truth. Even if all we can talk about at any given time is our subjective takes on a small bit of objective truth, I think science and math and reasoning has shown that the value is great. Not just a human being's soul is reborn, the poppulation growth is explained by foms of life being reborn as humans. Another explaination is that in between about 100 - 200 years ago the population size had decreased, there must be a certain reason why all those people werent reborn immediatley - they are all collectively being reborn recently. There are so many explainations, you cant make a trend into rebirth or population size, there is so much more depth to this than numbers.

They all state that for "infinite amount of years" which i assume that infinite is trillions and trillion and more non-stop of trillions of years ago, people have been around. Incorrect, rebirth doctrines do not teach that humans have been born and reborn as humans time and time again, but the mind can be born into bodies which are like a cup containing water that can be transmitted to any other type of container.
In Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and more, there are form beings (animals, humans), hell beings, ghosts, heavenly beings, gods, and other FORMLESS beings. If the consciousness leaves the body and doesn't return to one, then it is formless.

I lost the latter part of the video - the Akashic field - he should have just posted more about his cases. 1. As far as humans & animals increasing - there are millions of tiny animals that we are being overlooked, ants for instance. Also we may not be being reborn just here on earth, there may be other worlds. Also we humans are neither unique nor special.
2. We are being reborn not being taken over by another entity. We have not yet identifed the soul - it is the soul that as it leaves one body, we die and as it enters another, it lives.

You are thinking of animals as being specifically what they are, as opposed to what they are made of. Humans are not just humans, they are an arrangement of billions of atoms. Each atom, will be discarded in waste over time, and every 3 years every cell in our body is renewed, and we have a different physical appearance. The same is true for consciousness. These parts can be in anything. Animal atoms can be compost or a human can digest them and turn them into it's energy, etc.
