The appeals system works, all innocent death row prisoners were alive at the time of their exoneration and released. I don't claim to speak for countries other than my own.

You have to think of the victims when considering the death penalty. The convicted was at one time as free as you and me. He or she expressed there will to kill. it is no longer about the needs of the murder/rapist. Of course he or she wants to live and stay on death row and watch tv and eat candy and jerk off to what they did. therefore, we must place our thoughts with the victims and express our needs to live in a safe and just society. The convicted should be executed.
As long as there's a death penalty, innocent people can be killed by accident. Besides, killing the murderer wont make society safer, theire already incarcerated either way. There's no excuse for death penalty.

Less than 4 yrs. passed between sentence and execution in the Dodd case, which is how it should always be. Mercy for this animal can't be justified.

Some people don't deserve to live on the planet. If I were "Ruler of the Free World" for a day, I would create a second Supreme Court to deal only with Death Penalty Cases. If convicted and sentenced to death, you would have one appeal only. Your case would go before the new Supreme Court the week of your sentence. 48 hours later you would be either turned lose having won your case, or you would be executed. PERIOD.

The appeals system works, all innocent death row prisoners were alive at the time of their exoneration and released. I don't claim to speak for countries other than my own.

Yes indeed he was mentally ill, but still he was able to to plan his actions to kill, equip himself with a knife for a kill, go out and find a victim to kill, then act out his intentions and execute the kill on his chosen innocent victim, then, run away from the scene only to get apprehended by 2 members of the public and restrained until the police arrived to arrest the mentally ill chap.

I ask you all this, if you are against the death penalty then you should maybe consider this, jamie bulger was a little uk boy,he was abducted by two evil little sick shits, he had the most horrific disgusting things done to his little tiny body beside a train track, then he was laid on the train track and left to be run over by a train.
The 2 sick little twerps are now free from prison and living freely with new i.d's.
Question, would you be happy if you found out they where your neighbours?

You have to think of the victims when considering the death penalty. The convicted was at one time as free as you and me. He or she expressed there will to kill. it is no longer about the needs of the murder/rapist. Of course he or she wants to live and stay on death row and watch tv and eat candy and jerk off to what they did. therefore, we must place our thoughts with the victims and express our needs to live in a safe and just society. The convicted should be executed.

As long as there's a death penalty, innocent people can be killed by accident. Besides, killing the murderer wont make society safer, theire already incarcerated either way. There's no excuse for death penalty.
