I would have to say after watching this EVO sucks. he tests the ferrari but he does not get to drive the Porsche. But picked the ferrari as the winner, the Porsche would eat the GTO in almost every catergory.

959 was my dream car. I have a silver 930 but I wish I could afford a 959. Even by todays standards the 959 is still a great car.

@adam1othman Actually, I too am a Ferrari guy myself, but the new 911 Turbo was clocked in the 2's from 0-60 stock. No Ferrari I know of has ever been in the 2's. Obviously I'd still rather have the Ferrari though. ;)

If it wasn't for the Porsche 959, the Mitsubushi 3000GT VR4 & mostly 1989 Nissan Skyline GTR wouldn't have had the idea of Twin turbo 6 cylinder & All wheel drive.

The 959 is an uglier 911.  Hard to believe, but they actually uglied up a 911. It's potential is endless in that respect.

@StuRaz Thanks for the appreciation. Odd you have such an ear for humor and no eye for beauty ;-) I've often joked that the worst job in the world would be a designer at Porsche. They tried with the 924, 944, 928 and a few other models to make ANYTHING that didn't look like a 911 but Porsche customers wanted nothing of it. Now they have 3 cars and an SUV and all look like 911's. Can't wait for the 911 lawn mower with bug-eyes on the hood.

@StuRaz I like the 924/944 okay but not the 928. My point wasn't whether they were good or bad designs. My point was that all failed because Porsche people just want something that looks like a 911. Now when they have a new niche they want to enter (Boxter / Cayenne) they just graft a 911 hood onto a new vehicle and Porsche people buy them.

I think the ferrari are terrible cars on muds and rallying world since the 1950's. Ferraris has no achievement on gravel and punishing terrain in rally(Not GT races that anyone could easily join,but rally?)rally is another world, ferrari now have no chance of challenging VW, Audi & Citroen on rally. They only made rich guys soffas on nice asphalt 4 fat american macdonald eaters. And that so true. Every 911 are born from rally and racing, Thus they are prepared if needed to go offroad

Quick question (either for EVO staff or anyone who knows this car better than me). Chris Harris mentions that it has sequential turbos. The question is: when the second turbo kicks in, does the first (and smaller) turbo keep blowing, or not?
