Classics teach you certain morals and how kick-ass things were back then compared to now.

  • Wheel in the sky keeps me "earnin", should be "yearnin". But hey, most youngsters who watch this probably wouldn't even notice.

  • Journey, they rock. This song is so good. That new lead singer for journey is good as well.

  • i'm with you MrJoey123412341234. all this new crap isn't music. it's more like commercial advertising

  • @ The person who disliked this. SCREW YOU FAGET!

  • I love love love this song :D

  • I wasn't born into this era of great music (60,s-80's) I was born in the 90's. but that fact aside I DID grow up with this. ppl are surprised tht I looove classic rock as if I should b all over bubblegum pop. I'm like nope I'm all rock n roll baby!!!

  • im 12 and i love 80's music like AC/DC def leppard journey slayer metallica and all those stuff but i do think todays music is to overrated

  • @USAxOWNS1776 wow bro me too!!!!

    keep rockin!

  • I grew up with Journey, Styx, Foreigner, AC DC, metallica, Aerosmith, and the rest. I may like a few pop songs, but rock will alwys be in my soul. That and Reggae, I love me some bob and collie buddz. Steele Pulse is good too. But overall, my favorite type of music would be rock. Love it!!! Great job on the video!!! <3

  • The lyrics I believe are relating to the planetary and astrological effect on the outcome of our daily lives that we have no control over. The "Wheel" being the planetary and star arrangement which keeps on turning and changing as time passes. Totally celestial! :)

  • your both idiots

  • I love Journey and this song is the BOMB

    -M&Jshow

    ;-)

  • 1 person knew where they would be tommorow ...

  • @LeagueofLegendsisfun shut the fuck up pussy comments about the dislikes are not funny at all. and particularly this comment doesnt make any fucking sense.

  • i long to find the wheel in the sky!

  • amazing song wayy better than dont stop believin thumbs up if u agree

  • @yodaking34 whatever i think all their songs rock

  • this is my fav song by journey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My teacher said, "My favorite song is Wheel in the Sky by Journey; though you probably don't know who that is." Now, I love Journey, and in an attempt to prove her wrong I just then suddenly sang out, "Oh, the wheel in the sky keeps on turning! I don't know where I'll be tomorrow!" And she looked at me with the look on her face that told me that she was both impressed and shocked out of her mind.

Kids who listen to 80's music are cool!

  • @SunnyEspeon Yes. Yes we are.

  • @SunnyEspeon true that journey all the

  • @SunnyEspeon in that case i must be awesome lol i listen to 50s-80s music depends on the artist

  • @SunnyEspeon Fuck Yeah gotta love the classics

  • @SunnyEspeon I was raised to it.

  • amazing song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Journey is definitely one of my favorite 80s bands!

  • Wheel In the Sky is about being out on the road away from his family. These guys would go hard for 8 or 9+ months, driving to a different town every nite, doing the songs and making a living. They often didn't know where they were going to be tomorrow - it all runs together after awhile. It's one hell of an exhausting grind, and the Wheel in the Sky represents the obligation of doing your job and being a slave to that schedule to make the next performance with no chance to see your family.

  • one person apparently doesnt spin in the sky with us wheels

  • i really didnt pay attention to the song because i play guitar myself and i was listenin to the instrumental but u guys r right it makes you think

  • I think its pretty clever to never reveal a songs meaning.Keeps ppl talking about it.But the wheel in the sky refers to UFO's in the Bible, tho i doubt thats what they're refering to in the song. Its just another meaning.

  • @222muffinman why would you care about dislikers? It's stupid and makes you look like an idiot, people have opinions you know.

  • @Cybrisk It makes YOU look like an idiot correcting him. Mabye he likes to make fun of the dislikers. leave him alone Also GREAT SONG!

  • Great song! My boyfriend wants this song played at his funeral once he passes away... : P

  • @kurtcobainluver27 Your boyfriend sounds almost as cool as me.

  • the word is "yearnin".....

  • Isn't the word "yearnin"......not "earnin"

  • no you are all wrong it means halo is in the sky and turnin lol jk this song actually means a lot o me my grandma and i used to listen to it when i was littler

  • im 15 and i grew up with journy :D live on forever!!

  • you guys are idiots. the wheel in the sky is the sun. as it turns, it represents the passing of time.

  • @herzeleidhero but the sun doesnt turn. Who's the idiot now?

  • @herzeleidhero EXACTLY!THANK YOU.BUT IT CAN BE INTERPRETED MANY WAYS.

  • Old song, but still a great sounding classic!

  • i love thi song

  • me and my boyfriend luv this song!!! ***KmAe+Cody***

  • when you listen to this song you just have to blast the stereos!!!!!

  • Y DID STEVE LEAVE?!?!

  • @cutelilkat101 Steve Perry did not leave Journey he was actually fired from the group. his mother became ill while they were working on a new album so he was off a lot helping to take care of his mother and the group didn't like that so they let him go when the album was finished. (got that answer from ask.com)

  • Im doing this in the talent show!

  • great tune to listen to while training pumps me up everytime lol

  • I heard this song today on the bus, had to look it up

  • 3:11 sounds like the wheel in the sky keeps me yuring ive listen to all of this song on youtube it sounds the same at 3:11 lol youring

  • And "the wheel in the sky keeps me youring" makes sense how?

  • @Karchelma the wheel in the sky keeps me yearning....

  • excellent song

  • They mean fate when they refer to the wheel in the sky, systematically turning the world and as it turns we change and years pass as time escapes. so when life moves it moves for a reason and we dont know were we are going to be when fate changes our path.

    Cheers!

  • @amazonian89 I always heard it was about people who work in carnivals. The wheel in the sky is the ferris wheel.

  • @amazonian89 Unless it's actually the band who said that I doubt it...

Case in point, Whiter Shade of Pale (Procol Harum), people kept trying to assign "meaning" to the story like lyrics (like trying to involve Arther Miller and Marilyn Monroe), Procol Harum finally came out and said that the lyrics mean nothing, they just sounded good.

People gotta stop looking for all these hidden meaning in things, most of the time it's written that way because it sounds cool, nothing else.

  • @archer49d not really, I'd say that at least 95% of the songs I listen to have a very clear and profound meaning to them. Which, I think that amazonian89 is right in this case, due to the lyrics: "I don't know where I'll be tomorrow" and the fact the word "wheel" is often used to refer to the ages old wheel of fortune.

  • @amazonian89 very good insight, young grasshopper

  • @amazonian89 um... my dog can play dead when i pretend to shoot him O_O

  • the first time i have heard it, i was thinking to myself "i gotta find that song on youtube, and download it to my MP3 player if i get one. of course, now i hav an Ipod nano so im so downloading this song.

  • nice

  • i never understud the wheel in the sky part

  • awesome, thanks
