Love Thailand. You have my heart, my prayers, from America I am coming in January If I have to stay longer to help in anyway I will. Whatever it takes I love these people they have won my heart years ago and I am not turning away. This is a true promise. And whatever it takes the rest of us will help see through that. I will see what can be done with different groups here in the U.S.
@StoneColdBeer316 thanks a lot . hope u still come to Thailand in Jan.I think the situation is better then btw you can visit another provinces that didn't flood
omg i havent been to thailand for 5 years now and thats sad because im from there and i havent seen my other family members ina while i miss thailand so much and for everyone planning to go there all i can say is...........go for it thailand is a very beautiful place it is known to be "the land of smiles" thai people are very friendly and food is delicious.......i miss you thailand!!!
The flipside, however, is that away from these badly-affected areas just north of Bangkok and some less-affected south of Chiang Mai most of Thai people are going about life as normal and just seeing these images on the evening news. So it's terrible in some specific areas but definitely not as "nationwide" as the media might imply.
Flooding has been the worst in decades this year and especially Ayutthaya is a real mess with railway and highways cut off and many weeks of high water destroying farmlands and property (and 224 people dead so far).
@souldragon9 yes, flood happens during around September, but the worst place right now is Ayutthaya where i live. it happens every year but not this much. sorry for my english im just 13 yrsold kid :)
@souldragon9 if you're coming to bangkok then you shouldn't worry that much. normally floods weren't this severe but this year they're so extreme.. ayutthaya seems to be the most effected place atm.
same problem here in the philippines,i think were singking!!

Oh no! This is extremely tragic. I see an influx of malaria and other medical issues in the near future. I will keep the Thai people in my prayers!
