  • Fo Shizzle!

  • You are gonna put your eye out, kid...

  • Ho the hell Is anyone sub post to build anything from this video? The title is a come on lie.SS

  • Is this from a hard drive?

  • @PKMotoren yes, IBM Deathstar

  • @svofski Cool! :)

  • yes but it fun.....may be it..good..

  • inefficient. hardly powers one little light.

  • But it's fun :D

  • Its not meant to power a city... its just a small project

  • Nice, maybe try it with wind power.

    5*

  • ok that spindle thingy i have i tink? i got it from my old broken playstation 2.. i have some questions: Where did u connect the LED? so theres no battery right. -.-

Can u tell me all the steps to making it because im desperate and i need it for this project thats worth 15%!

  • Stupid filter wouldn't allow me to add anything resembling an url, but check out the annotations for the link to a similar circuit.

  • get your pcs fan with a light in it. now put your vacume cleaner to it.

the lights in the fan will light once the blades have spun up fast enought.. its fun for 2min till you discover the electricity your wasting.

  • wheres the steam, sizzle chest?

  • Anything steam-powered works just as well with compressed air.

  • fantastic ! :)

  • Ya gotta love it... a 750Watt vacuum cleaner can power a 3 watt light bulb!

    What'll they think of next???

  • lol!

  • Well, I was led to believe that a steam engine would be powering a miniature turbine generator.

    That's marketing for you.

  • thats amazing. pretty smooth! ! 1

  • Steam is ok,but water and air is king!

  • steam is water

  • haha you told him

  • True, but there are steam generators and hydroelectric (water) generators, and is it me or is this video cool, but uses no steam. He used negative air pressure or his vacuum cleaner. He may have made the vacuum blow but no steam.

  • cool sounding......

  • you are wasting more energy than you are producing :|

  • I only watched it once, but it looked pneumatic rather than steam driven. Help me out wheres the steam?

  • wheres the "how to"?

  • There is no howto, sorry. If you're interested, take apart a HDD and check out the plates, they can be cut into small rectangular pieces - those would be the blades. Aluminium spacers between the plates can hold the blades, just make thin radial cuts in them and fit the blades tightly -- no threading or glue necessary, just friction.

  • Very imaginative/creative... of course, 1000 Watts of Hoover power to generate 0.2 Watts of lightingain't going to solve the energy crisis...... but keep at it!!!! ;)

  • no point to this.

  • that's the point

  • haha, awesome

  • creative

  • coool

  • NIce.
