@doublehelix109 Yeah the sand piled up to the bushes is really steep, thats why the truck gets an abrupt direction change and good air, it sucks that my anti sway bars were so old and worn out, that it kept getting stuck leaning one way or another, made it more fun for me though :)

Well it certainly does the job.I had a Toyota Hilux MT and it was a pretty decent truck but then the bank manager started to ask for his money back :( so it had to go. I just run the 1/5 th scale RC trucks at the moment(I dont know whats more expensive to maintain ha ha) and thats a trick we use to improve traction.

Yes I am standing up, also suspended in a 20 point DJ Safety Harness that has a 14" travel King Shock inc. so the harness has susp travel too! Shifter on left foot rear brake on rt. left thumb rear steer, front handlebar steer finger throttle rt hand, left hand lever front brakes
Yeah, it has two new anti-sways now and now that it has em' the valving is getting a little help,,, needs a little less rebound in the front, but too lazy to pull it apart right now
Just think about how a lot of other trucks would have bounced on the landing? I like it sticky, do you know that the truck has handlebars? I like it to handle like my bike!
Don't you mean more rebound? I only have experience on mountain bikes and motorcycles but I think the concept is the same. Its taking too long for the suspension to rebound so its slow to rebound. On a side note those tires don't look like the standard 66" terras you see in arena monster trucks. Over all something about the suspension seems kind of off. When arena monster trucks jump they pop back up, from the suspension or the huge tires acting like springs I don't know.
To win a race, the popping back up like you are referring to, makes the tires come up and off of the ground, hence no traction and no possible advance in speed, You are right, MORE Rebound in the rear would be good, But I said (front) needs less. (see how it pulls the front tires off the ground) "bounce" too much rebound makes those tires become super balls, You have nailed it perfectly. You have the concept down.
