  • Did anybody know that this song was about the Quality Street gang in Manchester

  • Lizzy on a run, summer 76 they bring out the album Jailbreak, nothing can touch this until November, same year, Johnny the Fox appears; stand out tracks for me: Romeo and the Lonely Girl from Jailbreak and Borderline from Johnny the Fox, I'd never thought of music as seasonal until these two outstanding albums

  • What ever happened to this style of rock?Great Grove Great vocals.

  • SPEECHLESS!!!

  • @1jackiea For an example this came out when I was 16 and I didn't hear it till I was 27. What a pain in the ass drag.

  • @samir3323 Phil Lynott was a song writing genius. Everybody associated with Thin Lizzy was killer but Phil Lynotts song writing was unique.

  • Can you just imagine Roberston was good enough to addition as a drummer! And being able to play the guitar the way he did man you talk about just loaded with talent!

  • This was THEE moment when Thin Lizzy had officially become the greatest band in the world. The brainwashed of the world had the stones and the eagles and every other "money first" group that was forced upon them by corporate radio. Thin Lizzy was on a plane that cut through the board room mandates, and for those with ears, only they could hear the sound of greatness.

  • @HardRockViewz well said, man.

  • Goddamn it, this is great! What a Rock groove this track had - outstanding stuff.

Sometimes I forget how good this stuff was (is!) when today we're constantly saturated with the same old bloody sounds and formats put together by record companies - day in, day out.

  • @originalpotatojunkie You hit the nail on the head dead on. I'm in the same boat with the listening kick. Sometimes I feel myopic, then I say "Fuck it, one more time!"
