Eddie looks a mess and plays like shit - for Eddie thats playing like shit. I don't buy all Sammy's stories - the way he tells it he was the worlds most reasonable guy and everyone else is drunk, crazy, or a liar - dont forget he was booted out of Montrose too!
@Danazawa eddie was messed up on drugs and alcohol and didn't even want mike on the tour. ed's drinking caused a lot of problems betwenn him and everyone. great musician but addiction will do that to a person. that is what caused him to get his hip replacement as well in the mid 90s. sammy said he would love to be friends again.
@Danazawa You say you don't believe Sammy, but over the yrs Ed's the one who's been most erratic. He accused both Sam & DLR of not being team players. He wouldn't work w/Mike b/c Mike played w/Sammy. And Ed's had the most pronounced problems w/booze. Whatever conflicts Sam had w/Montrose, that was 20 yrs earlier. I dunno...it's not hard to figure that the most fucked up one in the bunch might be the biggest troublemaker.

Sammy Haggar is the hell of a front man, composer and singer... Mike was so fucking vital for this band as well... I feel sorry for Eddie. CHICKENFOOT IS THE SHIT
sammy in his book, red, said that ed was playing so bad at times on this tour, he had to listen to mike for his cues. he said he always stayed on opposite sides of the stage of ed since they weren't getting along. mikey was under a contract here, so he wasn't even really with the band so to speak.
Sammy, Dave and Michael seem to get along with everyone except Eddie...what does that tell you about Eddie?
