When you finally make it becoming a pilot for AA flying in one of their poorly maintained shit boxes tired to death and underpayed to the brink of economical disaster and barely enough to make it through the month while your personal life is going to hell ask yourself if it was worth it. Avoid AA at all cost, both as an customer and an future employee. AA is going down.
There are rumours that amercan airlines (in general, not the company) are being forced by the US government to buy amercan planes and not european ones. If they do not comply then the government will cap their expansion.
I fly flights 153 and 154, Chicago O'hare to Tokyo Narita routinely. Great flights, great Boeing 777's, great FA's. Thanks to every one at American for getting me around the world safely! AA also has a very user friendly frequent flier program. You can actually use your miles with out fuss, and even for one way tickets!

well. its a good tribute, to a bad airline. here are some reasons 1. Bad ontime performance 2. oldest planes 3. rude people working for them 4. no snacks 5. it just lags begind many airlines you want to the best domestic airline 1. JetBlue 2. Continental 3. Southwest 4. delta 5. United jet blue is by far the best though, free tv at every seat. more leg room, snacks, and its got a realy good ontime performance,and a reasonable price
cept not for AA.i wanna work for British Airways, cuz they get paid in euro's so i'd be making more ;)
plus i had better experiences with British Airways, n i live in florida too so its just random that i would choose BA lol
but i'm worried it might not be a job available in the future cuz robots have already hit the air force and fuel might not exist so airplanes might be grounded for a while.

no thats not true my mother is a flight attendant for american airlines shes been working for them for 22 years and she has only had about 5 emergency landings and none were fatal and 0 crashes so you can tell your mom she is rong!
yea my mom is a flight attendant for AA about 6000 in seniority ....so about 25 years or so and she has had two emergency landings. They are perfectly safe. its discounted fares like southwest who dont do safety checks that might get you in trouble
