Wham Bam, Thank You Mam!....not Man as album states! However, we'll boogie 'til the Rooster crows! Timeless, yes. My fav SF tune with Tin Soldier and of course, Itchycoo Park neck-and-neck.
La magia de los 60 y 70,referente a la cantidad y calidad de grupos, hoy en dia ese magia se ha pagado y solo unos pocos hacen buena musica.Antes casi todas las bandas eran muy buenas y de distintos estilos.
I think Ronnie Lane must have begun to see the writing on the wall for the Small Faces when he heard this one. No way could he co-exist with this style of music. It's pure Humble Pie. Heavy as it is, I love how they still throw in a few Shang-a-do-langs. Ronnie's contribution? Always a twist with these guys.
Totally...I couldn't agree more. I often thought about the fact that This was the beginning of Steve's career with Frampton and Humble Pie...The Heaviness (Even though The rest of " The Faces" would form their own supergroup with Ron Wood and Rod Stewart just fresh Jeff Becks Group and also Stewart had his own solo gig. It was hard to be Humble
Yeah, you can really hear the Humble Pie blues heavy sound here alright. It's too bad and sort of weird too since Steve Marriot was such an animating force in the first version of Small Faces that its impossible to imagine the group without him but he changed and not for the better. I really avoid listening to Humble Pie but I love the early SF. All things must pass I suppose. Sad though..
LOVE The Small Faces forever !!!! No one could play and sing like Steve Marriott !!! Thanks for the post ! Humble Pie also was a very underrated band ~ Steve is greatly missed ~ but he be rockin' at the great gig in the sky ;)
If you like this song, look up "You, Me, and Us Too" on youtube. It was the original vision for the song, and I think it's much better. But you can decide.
Thematically predicts the Glam-rock preoccupations lyrically (man hungry female characters) and also rocks along with the same vigour... God, I absolutely love the SF...
FOR ITS BETTER CLOONEY! ;)

I'd actually not heard this before. One of their best! (although, like ahorwood, my favorite is Tin Soldier).

It's a Brilliant track, and way ahead of the curve, but still not quite as good as Little Tin Soldier.
Thanks for putting it up here though, seeker, mate!

"Cor, it's a bit heavy, innit?" asked Ronnie Lane.

@TheClarkey19 Well you've got mine for a start. Wish I had more money when I was younger so I could've found Humble Pie too.

En la decada de los 80 la musica que mas destaco fue la musica Discotequera en esa epoca surgieron unas cuantas bandas que destacaron.
