  • what did he say the highly cafenatied Mountain dew Thats Why We Love Mountain Dew

  • @Rodeo78 Sry for the late response but this just had to be responded to cause you just made yourself sound stupid. Go to google and type in John Hanson and read. He was the first president before the constitution got changed.

  • i rather pollute the air and waste a shitload of money than waste mtn dew

  • SO THIS IS HOW WE SAID DRINK AND DRIVE.

  • WATCH THE LATEST MOUNTAIN DEW AD ! IT'S AMAZING ! JUST TYPE ' ITZ THE FIZZ THAN THE KISS ' ON YOUTUBE AND VIEW IT ! ENJOY :)

  • This is useless. He clearly said that he didn't invent an engine for this at all. ALL HE HAS IS A DELIVERY SYSTEM.

  • This invention is stupid.

  • What if you use knock off Mt. Dew from Wal-mart? Mountain Lightning! It's cheaper ;)

  • like thats ever goin to happen for every one

  • There have been hydrogen powered engines pretty much as long as there have been engines themselves. There are technical drawbacks to using hydrogen of course. And industry pressure assures this won't get much development.

I think pure electric or extremely efficient hybrids are the way to go. Although well developed mass transit systems would serve most places well enough.

  • just buy a horse and mow your lawn that's it..

  • there is no need for soda. Its the ingredients to make the fuel.

    the cost will be less.

  • I have a tube up me arse, it's powering my interwebz, send in the reporters!

  • Make it run on water from the gulf coast!

  • SWEDEN IS THE MOST AWESOME COUNTRY IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.

  • @wickedjoel I'll go with that.

  • waste of soda make something that runs on water

  • great. we pour mountain dew in our lawn mowers. keep thinking....... ill continue to drink my dew. yeah, sam's club cola sucks. pour that in your mower instead.

  • Maybe if Mountain Dew cut a deal with this guy and started making special bottles of it for fuel.

  • WHO THE FUCK WOULD WASTE MT DEW ON THIS! SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTT! IT TASTE TO GOOD TO WASTE!

  • God damn. The reporters don't know math. The inventor JUST said that it'll run on any soda. So lets get a sam's cola 2 liter. those are only 88 cents! So that'll be only 1.76 for 1 gallon of fuel.

  • looks like a mountain dew commercial. xD

  • WASTE OF MD

  • HAHAHA HE CARES MORE ABOUT THE FUCKING PRICE THEN THE POLUTION OUTPUT

  • why would you waste mountain dew on your car. just chug the mountain dew and run to were you want on your caffeine high.

  • I always knew we could use Mountain Dew for something other than throwing up intentionally.

  • try Budweiser in there. gator done.

  • interesting idea but........... what about the energy it takes to make the soda in the first place, can the fuel delivery system be adapted to all the petro devices used in the creation of the soda?

  • but it dosent pollute

  • Though the invention is interesting, and does provide a readily-available alternative to petroleum-based fuels, it's not as cost-effective as it would need to be in order to stand a chance on the market.

  • Someone clearly has time to waste, look at the comments. It's monopolized by the same guy.. WTF

  • There is documented proof that inventors, scientists, and researchers have been deterred from completing their research, through legitimate or illegitimate means, due to a larger controlling party feeling threatened. It's one of the given ways big business runs. That is a fact. If you can't accept/agree with that then I have to question your narrow perspective, if not blind narrow-mindedness. Ultimately, I know asking question and sparking debate is better than just accepting the status quo.

  • Still, there's a world of difference between denying somebody research grants, threatening to fire them from a lofty university/company position, etc. and KILLING THEM.

I won't deny that the former happens fairly often but to assume the latter puts you firmly on the crazy conspiracy theory side of the fence.

  • @NRen2k5 You ridiculed me for believing something that you didn't believe, because you have first-hand knowledge through education and research to the contrary. Now you agree that the scenarios I describe happen all the time, regardless of the minute percentage of extremes. Yes, to think murder happens all the time is zealous conspiracy talk, but, with millions, if not billions of dollars at stake, to think it never happens is foolish.

  • @NRen2k5 I'm not assuming anything. There is documented proof of more than denying grants, and threats of unemployment (though, both can have devastating effects on a person). Sideways legal wrangling, personal threats, harassment, sabotage. These are standard practices in some industries. Besides, most of the time, if you have enough money, you don't need to kill somebody to end their life.

  • I find it ironic that you want me to accept "the facts" to establish my opinion, but then say all sources of info are suspect. History has proven that honor and progress are not the main goals of big oil/ auto makers/government. I'm not blind and I'm not some conspiracy zealot. I just know what has happened over the years to confirm my beliefs. Without acknowledging the past we are doomed to relive it.

Waiting on an answer on the JFK question.

  • Since when is the newsmedia "all sources of info"?!?! Come on, man.

You want to insist that you're not a conspiracy zealot but that's exactly what you are. You're only interested in info that confirms your conspiracy theory.

  • The irony is that this guys invention has been proven to work. It's a basic concept. But what it does is never the focus. Instantly everyone thinks it's a new fuel or engine, even though he clearly states that in the beginning. It's really only a way to get the fuel to the engine to allow it to burn differently. It doesn't "run" on Mountain Dew so comparing the price of it to gas is a moot point.

  • Preston Tucker invented and was innovative at a time when the big car makers were content to sell the same product with little advancement. Their thought was why make it better if nobody else does. They used money and power, including the government, to suppress his progress and ultimately kill his company. His wasn't the only company that happened to. It's not only the auto industry that thinks this way.

  • Uh huh. So that's it. He didn't get caught doing dirty dealings like my sources say, it was a conspiracy against him. Should have known it would come to that with you.

  • @NRen2k5 So ALL the sources about ALL the stories of this and other invention suppression are bogus?

And you believe they happened but don't think there's some sort of conspiracy? Now who's narrow-minded?

  • @thelowmax No, just the ones I've seen.

I didn't say you're narrow-minded, just that you take a very narrow perspective on these things.

  • Flexible glass is a legendary lost invention from during the reign of Roman Emperor Tiberius Caesar. As recounted by Isadore of Seville, the craftsman who invented the technique brought Caesar a bowl made of flexible glass. Caesar threw it to the floor, whereupon the material dented, rather than shattering. The inventor was able to simply repair the dent with a hammer. After the inventor swore that only he knew how to produce it, Caesar had him beheaded, fearing it would devalue gold and silver.

  • @thelowmax Wow, you're bringing up a rumour from the court of a Roman emperor now? Just wow.

  • @NRen2k5 I was merely pointing out that the concept has been around for thousands of years.

I could bring up more current situations or tell you to do your own homework, but just as you illustrate concerning the Electric Car movie, people will see what they want to see. It seems that even though you chastise me for 'believing' something, you're content to believe that fact-based situations didn't or couldn't happen.

  • I don't believe that they didn't happen. I just choose not to agree with your narrow conspiratorial point of view.

  • This guy has been railroaded by the government, locked up, defamed, medicated against his will, denied legal process, bankrupted from legal fees, all by a political machine that doesn't want his invention to get out. They won't even let him hire his own lawyer. They offered to buy his invention but wanted him to turn over complete control in order to shelf the project. He refused. I believe he is still locked up to this day.

  • Prove it.

  • @NRen2k5 Prove it yourself. Read the back of a soda bottle.

  • @thelowmax No, you prove it. Show me an engine running on Mountain Dew, or sugar water for that matter. Show me how far it can go on nothing but a gallon of mountain dew or sugar water.

Don't just sit there making empty claims and then whining when I call BS.

  • @NRen2k5 There's a video of the thing working on youtube somewhere, I believe. :P

The only whining is coming from you. It seems as if you are taking a simple debate personally. I have nothing invested in the guy or his invention. Does the thing work? What does it run on? What is the mileage/dollar value/pollution ratio? All valid questions. But also valid is me questioning the guy's legal issues pertaining to it. Am I to believe that a conspiracy type scenario couldn't or wouldn't happen?

  • Frankly, yes.

Ask yourself this: When, in history, has there ever been a conspiracy to suppress such an invention?

You'll find there never has. The "evidence" for that being the case here is just a handful of other flimsy conspiracy theories.

  • @NRen2k5 Have you see the movie "Who Killed The Electric Car"? Ever heard of Preston Tucker and the Tucker 48? What about GM and the derailment of the trolley car for bus use instead? Not only don't I find it hard to comprehend that an industry or huge conglomerate would deter potential profit loss by manipulation or derailing a competitor, but I would expect it, particularly from automobile related industries. Isn't that how our country and, subsequently, the world has been run for years?

  • Fair enough. But what about inventions being bought just to be shelved? And what about inventors being killed to suppress their work?

  • @NRen2k5 "Who Killed the Electric Car?" clearly illustrates a product that was effectively shelved until demand and need were overwhelming, contrary to claims of the opposite. Tucker's innovations suffered the same fate until his company's total demise.

Inventors being suppressed/killed in a conspiracy/cover-up? If that were the case, how would I know? Did M. DeGeus just happen to die mysteriously on his way to sell his perpetual battery? How would I know if I didn't question the status quo?

  • @thelowmax That's the story the movie wants to tell anyway. I still don't see the Tucker connection.

I had to look up DeGeus because I didn't even know who he was until you mentioned him. Sounds a lot like Meyer. I love how PESN's best evidence of DeGeus being murdered is a rant from Bearden about death rays. Don't people EVER die of natural causes in your fantasy world?

  • @NRen2k5 I'll ask you the same question you posed me... Why do you choose to believe things rather than actually verify them yourself? Search "suppressed inventions" and a LONG list of long lists comes up. As I have said, The same ethics system that runs the world, runs big business, or vice-versa. Progress and profits are not the same goal. Was Kennedy killed by one man? Or could it be that the status quo saw their position threatened and acted to protect their own selfish interests?

  • @thelowmax Yeah, a list compiled by random internet basement-dwellers.

Are you seriously bringing JFK into this now? Wow.

  • @NRen2k5 Not just A list, but hundreds of lists from hundreds of sources. Is everybody out there a nutcase? Even the media? I'm not saying that every one is legit, but to write them all off without question is unrealistic, if not foolish.

Answer the question. Do you think LHO acted alone? A vast majority of Americans don't. It is the same situation. An individual wanting to affect change, that will radically alter the status quo, being stifled or killed by industry/conglomerate/government.

  • @thelowmax a lot of them aren't too far gone, they're just parroting what others have come up with. That includes the media. The media doesn't generally do much research, they just follow some rules of thumb. When enough people say something, they'll repeat it - not because they think it's true, but because it's notable because a bunch of people are saying it.

  • @NRen2k5 "When enough people say something, they'll repeat it - not because they think it's true, but because it's notable because a bunch of people are saying it."

How many people told you that?

  • Nobody. This is something I've observed myself when comparing the media's coverage of stories to what I know actually happened.

  • @NRen2k5 If all media is suspect, then how do you know what happened, unless you have first hand knowledge? How is my perspective narrow? I don't think everything is a conspiracy. I just know that power corrupts and money runs the world. Besides, haven't you seen "the Man Who Fell to Earth"?

  • @thelowmax Education and research, that's how. For example, anybody with a basic understanding of physics or chemistry ought to see how Meyer/Klein's water-fuelled cars can't possibly work.

Your perspective is narrow because you substitute a conspiracy theory for anything you don't know, don't understand or don't want to believe.

  • @NRen2k5 You never answered a very pertinent question. Do you believe that Kennedy was killed by a lone gunman. This strikes at the heart of the subject. I'm not substituting theory for the unknown. I'm merely keeping a mental note of history and facts that confirm there are bigger decisions made for the masses that benefit a minority, or don't have the best interests of the masses in mind. I don't believe one thing over the other. I don't have a black or white mentality. Do you?

  • You're kidding, right? Do you honestly think Kennedy is your silver bullet? What, because if in Kennedy's case it was a conspiracy then is must also be in Meyer's case?

Come on, just listen to yourself. It's totally ridiculous.

No, I don't have a black and white mentality.

  • @NRen2k5 I ask the JFK question, because you ridiculed me for believing in the potential of conspiracies. Yet, here is a conspiracy theory (including factual confirmation) pertaining to the assassination of the President of the United States, the most powerful man in the free world, that 75% of Americans believe to be true. I ask what you believe because you seem adamant that such things don't happen, yet concede that it does happen on a smaller scale. Answer the question.

  • @NRen2k5 You call me a zealot because I question things. I'm not questioning all things. I have a very open mind and you have agreed with me to a point, yet you refuse to acknowledge there's any validity to my opinion. The fact that you think the extreme never happens seems pretty black and white to me. I could be wrong. Could you?

  • Pantone was released in May 2009 according to his own website (took me less than 10 seconds to look up on Google). Nice to see those exceptional conspiracy theorist research abilities at work there. :P

  • @NRen2k5 I wrote, "I believe he is still locked up to this day." That meant I wasn't sure. I hope when you were showing me up, you actually read more than enough to trump me. Were any of my other points addressed?

  • @thelowmax Why do you choose to believe things rather than actually verify them yourself?

As to the rest of your "points", prove them.

  • It is similar to performing steam reforming using a plasma fuel reformer.

    google search:

    "steam reforming"

    and

    "plasma fuel reformer"

Paul Pantone's plasma fuel reformer doesn't require an external power supply like most. It develops electrical build up similar thunderclouds , enough to create a plasma inside.

See the plasma a 8 minutes into this video:

    youtube. com/watch?v=RTmN5EEcJ5Y

    remove the space

  • lmao these reporters must be retarded...

he clearly said it can run on any "water-based liquid"

so BESIDES the fact that two 2 liters of mountain dew does not cost $4, you can use a generic brand of pop such as Moon Mist or something along those lines, which might cost $1-2 for two two liters.

maybe AP should hire some people who know how to think.

  • @jeffiskoolerthanyou mountain dew is 1.25 for a 2 liter where i live

  • @jeffiskoolerthanyou

Maybe, but you have to think that he proably already thought of that, and maybe it does work, just not aS AFFECTIVE.

  • jeese, over the past few years i must have seen 100 ways to run a vehicle. Water, soda, garbage, weeds..

BUT THERE'S NOT ONE CAR ON THE ROAD THAT DOES IT YET.

In fact the first time you hear about some new engine is usually the LAST time

  • I'm sure there are better ways that's already been invented for clean energy, but its kept secrets. As the politicians, Leaders, Countries depends on oil profits. So these inventions are not going to see the air until oil runs out.

  • God the Associated Press is corrupt. Saying you need Mountain Dew to run the Geet. BULLSHIT! IT RUNS ON WATER!

  • It doesn't run at all, dumbass.

  • AP has some stupid reporters.. Id say hire some that graduated high school and you may get the story right..

Paul Pantone invents a high temp vapor carb system that will run on almost anything liquid and the dufus brain dead reporter states that mountain dew costs about the same as gas.. What is it, stupidity or dis-information propaganda ? ? ?

  • like that would happen

  • Then Mountain Dew prices will go up

  • @TheFadedGuitar And gamers will die..

  • @TheFadedGuitar if that did happen that old guy will probably be dead in 2 months

  • Faygo fuck mountain dew!!!

  • it would be more cost effective if you buy the mountain dew syrup.

  • The syrup and the end product are different things.

  • Anybody who's seen a skateboarder knows that "the Dew" works.

  • Hey jebinger, Learn to Spell... If you want to insult Americans thats great (and quite fun), but but make it so we can read it.

P.S. Lay off the booze. ¬_¬

  • well, jeb, sounds like you are envious of your cousins across the pond. Not to mention ignorant of the actual size of this nation. So, you limey moron.. to put it in a phrase you MIGHT understand.... PISS BLOODY OFF!!!! you Pufta! Who the fuck are you to tell anyone to do anything. You are the epitome of Sheeple over there.... following your socialist "leaders" to the economic slaughter. Just because we dont follow you are jealous of our lifestyle... well piss off you Euro-trash POS!

  • do you even have any idea how ignorant that is? I'm from sweden, and FYI that is in europe. funny fact, 1/3 of all the worlds co2 production comes from the united states, you also got 1/3 of the worlds prísoners while were at the 1/3 thing. Americans got no right to tell people not to tell others what to do, that is what you do.... and check up the quality of our lives, america is realy low there, sweden is in top 5. we got better education, healthcare, average income, less crime and much more.

  • i like how racist you are..jesus calm down idiot.

  • exactly how is that racist? ^^ stating out facts about a nation (of mixed races [i use this word not in a racist way, mankind has adapted to different enviroments which has made us a little different from eachother, not better or worse, just different] like sweden and the us) and don't you think the "war on iraq" vietnam, korea, cuba and more is you trying to tell others how to be? I rest my case.

  • you think youre better than everyone else. just shut the hell up lmao.

  • I don't think that I'm better than the rest. Why, do you? Do you think that you are worth much less than everybody else?

i have only stated out facts and some of my own opinions, I havn't made any insults or tried to tell anybody what to do(which you have). The only thing that you have managed to do is show how little you understand and tolerate. So please, say more. But this time, come with a reasonable argument to why im a racist or think that im much better than everybody else.

  • sigh i give up..never mind.

  • @apannr1 sweden apparently has their heads the farthest up their asses too

  • @PotatoOfRa your a real asshole but i suppose you allready knew that. i agree with apannr1 theUnited states think that the world is theirs but thats becuase you have smaller brains then the rest of the world. come over to sweden and youll wanna stay here for the rest of your life

  • @wickedjoel You call someone else an asshole, yet you come back with an asshole comment. Get your head out of your ass so you can see how retarded you are.

  • @apannr1 You're only regurgitating what your global warming masters have drilled in your head. We saved your butt in WWII and this is how you respect the people who gave their lives for your country. ...and if you're so much better than Americans, then why are you on the American invented INTERNET using an American company YOU TUBE and operating the American invented COMPUTER? What have you guys invented? Barbaric, murderous vikings, who destroy, porno and cheap furniture from Ikea!

  • @surearrow

Swedish inventions: Dynamite, the computer mouse(that you probably used a lot by now.) Three-point seatbelts that ALL cars use nowdays is a Swedish invention. The list is too long to list here but basicly you probably use atleast 2 swedish invention everyday.

And you didnt save us during WW2. We where neutral.

AND the first american president, John Hanson, was Swedish.

  • @Johannicus Umm.. I'm pretty sure the first American president wasn't John hanson.

  • @thatbuttazkid Hanson was the first president. Washington was first AFTER we adopted the constitution. We are not taught about the seven presidents who came before him. The Articles of Confederation (which the USA was originally founded on, prior to the constitution) was a failure and so we like to ignore their tenure. Easier to just teach history from the Constitution forward, and only mention the Articles in passing.

Too bad because without Hanson this country probably wouldn't be here...

  • and you would have taken your sister's virginity to be born in australia and don't say you wouldnt because you would.

  • Sorry. If I wanted to live in Australia I'd be there already.

  • Matt Freedman is his name. What a jerk. This man is an inventor, and little Matthew sums up the value of the mans work by calculating the retail cost of soda. And he thought he sounded so smart...

  • Notice the speaker says that because Mountain Dew costs $4 a gallon at the grocery store, using Mountain Dew would not be cost effective. The speaker must be a complete idiot. There is probably more cost involved in producing the plastic bottle than the fluid. I would be surprised if Mountain Dew fluid costs more than 50 cents a gallon to produce. When you shave off the cost of ensuring Mountain Dew is fit for human consumption, it is probably around 30 cents a gallon.

  • I love how you're so fixated on that that you miss the fact that that engine gets much much much less mileage on a gallon of cola than a normal engine gets on a gallon of gas.

  • I love how you're so fixated on your issue, that you miss the fact that Mountain Dew or any liquid that works really only costs about 50 cents a gallon. Lower mileage and really low fuel cost means more miles for the dollar.

  • Wow, where the heck do you live where Mountain Dew is only 50¢ a gallon?

  • @NRen2k5 It doesn't need to be Mountain Dew. Almost any soda or liquid will work. Soda is basically sugar and water. Pretty cheap.

  • Sure thelowmax, if you take what Pantone says at face value and ignore the pesky details about different fuels having different energy contents.

  • Let's Penn and Teller to address this kind of crap.

  • I don't see what the big deal is... Mountain Dew powers me through mornings. *sometimes

  • Future AP:

A new merger took place between Burger King and Marathon opening the way for the first fast food full service garage. Customers can now get their vehicles fully serviced and the tanks filled with their favorite beverage while waiting in line.

  • Wow, AP is really behind the times.

GEET has been known to be a fraud for a couple of years already.

  • well actually most ppl believe the fraud claims were conjured up by agent provocateurs.

  • No.

You don't even know what an agent provocateur is.

  • Sorry that you find the annotation of an agent provocateur so convoluted. Wow, dont think about it too hard, google it.

  • How about you Oxford it?

"Agent provocateur" is someone who goes to a protest to try to incite a riot to discredit the legitimate protesters.

"Annotation" is adding notes to a document.

"Convoluted" is twisted. I didn't say your claim was twisted, I said that you don't know what an agent provocateur is.

Seriously, stop trying to sound smart and actually try to BE smart.

  • nren you cant be stupid enough to think that an Agent provocateur is only someone who goes to a protest haha. Are u retarded & intellectually limited.

    Convoluted means complicated; intricately involved

Wasnt my post about agent provocateurs below a explanation, commentary or note you idiot. lol dude read a book. You dumb youtubing troll get a life. Dont reply 2 me because i consider you one of the dumbest trolls ive seen in a while.

Thanks for the laugh. haha miserable trolls

  • Toon, you're the stupid one. Agent provocateur is specifically what you call protest infiltrators. Someone who screws around someplace else is called something else.

You were wrong. Accept it, get over it, and move on.

I love how you pull all this stuff out of your ass just to desperately try to sound smart on YouTube and somehow I'M the one who's a troll.

    Wow. Just wow.

  • a·gent pro·vo·ca·teur

    n. pl. a·gents pro·vo·ca·teurs (ā-zhäɴ' prô-vô'kä-tɶr')

A person employed to associate with suspected individuals or groups with the purpose of inciting them to commit acts that will make them liable to punishment.

    THERE YOU GO STUPID.

YOU SEE THE WORD PROTEST ANYWHERE?

YOU ARE WRONG & STUPID. LOL (Wonder if this guy is dumb enough to argue with a dictionary definition.) pls keep embarrassing yourself.

    enjoy troll :-)

  • So tell me, what did the agent provocateurs incite Pantone to do? Idiot.

My God, you still believe you're right, don't you?

That's really, really sad. And so totally typical for a conspiracy theorist.

Oh well. Go on, keep wasting your energy on conspiracy theories. The world needs more burger flippers.

  • WOW your a weirdo. Now your dumbazz finally realizes that you had no concept of what an agent provocateur was. (incite incite incite) This dumbazz Nren is finally grasping the true meaning of an agent provocateur. (But now hes going into some weird conspiracy theory rant, hes hopelessly stupid.)

advice: 1. go to school dumbazz

     2. buy a dictionary dumbazz 3. stop trolling dumbazz

    lol dummmbazzz

  • Wow, you really are living in your own little world.

  • lmao no need to even reply to TOONMANTIS, dude.

he's getting a huge laugh trollin' at his house, cause he has nothing better to do on a friday night..

    XD

  • Buy generic brand soda. you can get a 3 liter bottle for 2 bucks. I don't think the deice would notice the difference between generic and name brand.

  • True, and I wonder if soda can be more corrosive than gasoline.

  • Wow, me and my car drink the same soda.

  • "can i take your order?"

Uhh,yeah gimmee a Big Mac and 20 gallons of Mtn DEW

  • Thats Franky technology!!!

  • not suprised with all the chemical additives.

  • yeah everyone fear corrupt utah officials woooooooooohh lol

  • I wonder when the clueless are going to wake up and realize that the internal combustable engine has been obsolete since world war 2.

Our buses and most government vehicles run on propane and natural gas.

Our military uses synthetic oil that costs half of the price of regular oil.

But we get stuck paying the most with zero alternatives.

Why? Because it's all about control and profits from government and corporations. Welcome to corporatism....

  • This guy would have been a Billionaire by now if not because of CORRUPT UTAH OFFICIALS!!!!

  • NOO NOT MOUNTAIN DUE!!!

  • He said "then you can add mountain dew, or whatever you want to add" does this include plain water? But anyways, it does not say how efficient the machine is so how can you gauge it against regular fuel???

  • Plan water with a little electrolyte like a pinch of salt or vinegar or battery acid.

    google search:

    "steam reforming"

    and

    "plasma fuel reformer"

Steam reforming works with any vapourized hydrocarbon and steam, not just with methane.

Paul Pantone's fuel reformer uses a self generated electrostatic buildup plasma whereas MIT's & others have a powered plasma for their fuel reformers.

Auto companies have patents for fuel reformers for cars but refuse to put fuel reformers on cars.

  • $4 for two 2-liters? Where the fuck are you buying your Mountain Dew?

  • Hawaii or Alaksa most likely. It costs like $6 a gallon or more for milk out there, when it's $2.79 where I am in Texas.

  • it was bound to happen

  • i work in a restaurant why cant he use syrup and carbonated water just a thought

  • hahaha so what, 2 liters of mountain dew is like 3 bucks, so a gallon is like 10 bucks, so it's only gonna cost more

  • are you retarded.....can you not count???

2 liters is a little over half a gallon

    it also is about a 1.50$ at most store....therefore 3$ a gallon

    go back to grade school

  • how long are these new inventions goig to be shown on the news then disappear? seriously since about 73' new engines and fuels have been invented and re-invented several times.. but it never changes anything anywhere. why is that? i know the answer but lets try to demand action. haha i kno this wont do anything but just think about it

  • Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.

Paul Pantone got sentenced to three years in the funny farm after being convicted of securities fraud, because the judge found him mentally incompetent.

    Oh yeah, there's an INVESTMENT

  • Buddy, he was framed cause he wouldn't sell the patents to a corrupt Utah officials and companys wanting their "share". And come on, does that guy look insane to you (except for the cool refreshing taste of mountain dew : D)

  • ha ha ha ha, sure, sure, that's it. HE WAS FRAMED. ha ha ha ha ha...

Go ahead and invest all your money with that creep. Be my guest.

  • Water, sugar and gas to carbonate is not an ecological disaster and once the system is changed to a GEET system, that too would be 0% emissions.

The ratio of fuel energy is comparable to that of gas according to this shill news guy otherwise it would be no threat to gasoline at the same price.

  • Wow, how stupid, once again. Has anyone done the math of how much petro energy it takes to make soda??? This is a second-hand energy source made from petro. Therefore, we're not getting any enviro benefit here. Same problem with the electric car -- needs second-hand energy. We're not supposed to be trying to solve individual economic problems with its cheapness of the energy; rather, we should focus on first-hand, clean, renewable energy. Otherwise, we're still F'ed. Duh.

  • Also, soda tastes great. Why waste it?

  • This story is another proof that journalism is dead. Since there was no research on fuel efficiency, it becomes just an opinion piece. By the way, if carbon dioxide is really a pollutant, then you can say goodbye to your Pepsi, Coke, and Mountain Dew because they are infused with it, and the gov't will tax you for your soda car, too. Such nonsense...

  • yes, carbon dioxide is really a pollutant, so please just stop breathing.

  • Not only is AP wrong about the cost per gallon, but there is no research into fuel efficiency. How many miles per gallon can you get using this method compared to gas? Chances are that you are getting much less (similar to ethanol), but it would still be much cheaper to make than ethanol.

  • just think about it...soda cost pennies per gallon to make. sugar and carbonated water is practically free.

this DOES replace gas, today ALREADY

    -duh-

  • this is a hit piece to scare you away from the fact that the system works. you DONT NEED SODA it runs on about anything

    just youtube GEET

    pisses me off damnit

  • sams cola is like 1/4 the price of mountain dew. ap fail.

  • Apparently this news anchor was not listening. You can use any soda with 25% carbs. So Wal-marts Mountain Lightning at $.88 a two liter means $1.76 a gallon.

  • why do i hear about cars running on water but i dont see any new cars that run on water? wtf?

  • goood vid

  • i wonder if they can make a car that runs on stem cell fetuses .
