Wonderful! Rhythm and tune too. Very attractive to listen to. There needs to be some songs out there with this technique in it and ppl will be trying to figure out what that instrument is. It takes an amazing amount of strength. My daughter cannot do it, and has played a long time. She'll keep trying. Thanks for sharing, Mary
very nice stuff dude. can i just ask do u ned a certain gauge or type of string on your guitar to be able to make these sounds from playing it that way, i swear ive tried everything n it wont happen? wb
It's a Larivee (I don't know the model-- it's not custom, just a standard dreadnought with a cut away) with standard gauge (13's) strings, probably phosphur bronze but I don't really remember what was on there. I'm not much of a gear-head. I hope that's not too lame of a response. Thank you.
Thank you very much. It is an original tune called "Dumb It Down Now". This is an instrumental version of a song off the Born Again Floozies next release (due spring 2008). That version features lyrics and a full arrangement. Thanks again for listening.
amazing man, seen him play a couple of times in INDY, very cool.

Ooops - I see another vid where you are
demonstrating this method...guess I'll have
to get a pickup for me axe!

Is that a fairly straightforward technique?
Reminds me of Aerial Boundaries, some.
Glad you're doing this - a needed niche
in guitar. Thankx. ddanze
PS could you post a brief lesson on how to?
