Listening to another Motown Classic from Kim Weston, incredible that she didn't have a number of Million Selling Grammy Award winning hits...she deserved them!
Yeah, fantastic record. All those little changes in it are so clever. I'm particularly fond of that string part in the chorus (0.37) that comes tearing out of the speaker when you least expect it.
@xwsftassell You're so right about this song haveing so many clever little changes. I too love the way those strings just come out of nowhere. The part that always gives me severe chills though is at the :28 mark. The song is already dark and dangerous and then at that point it takes that nosedive of a key change with the vibraphone announcing its arrival. Livisoul, kudos on having this acetate and posting it here!
