From a the line, the STi would spank the corolla, er, is350. But the 35os gearing would spank the STi from 95nph and beyond. I've drivin both a lot.

But from a realistic standpoint I'd take the 350 over the STi, since I'm tired of crap warranty issues (Subaru)

The sti is faster in the quarter mile (fractions of a second mind you), but traps slower then the stock is350. Meaning once you get into triple digit land (especially in a school zone), the is should walk the sti. The IS350 from what I recall was made to go against the e46 m3.
