@nobodyshearing From what ive been hearing, this asus tablet probably better for now. The 5 is supposedly a revamped iphone 4 with different components inside including a a5 chip, the same one in the ipad 2, and etc. The release date is in september this year, rather than June, with production starting in July. The iphone 6 is supposedly the complete redesign.

Dont quote me on this stuff. These rumors coming from suppliers of the iphone, but it is good to know.

@TwistedGentleman I think that Asus is probably in "holy crap, we are outselling our supply by a ton" mode. There will be plenty to go around later this spring and into the summer. This device is worth the wait. Two other people in my office and I have a pact to buy three if we can ever find them at the retail price.

So buying this. I have never liked lap tops i feel you don't get your money's worth when you buy a mac or windows laptop. You can build a desktop that plays crysis for 500- 600 bucks. So having this fits well with me. i have a beastly desktop. I love the networking app thingy on this. i will totally be using it to stream videos from my desktop PC. the best use for me is being able to control my PC from afar starting and stopping my torrents from the couch. best tablet to date IMO.

Thanks for this semi-indepth hands on video...I'm pretty much sold on this. My laptop at home I used to use in college, now I use it mostly when I'm downstairs or away from my PC. It's too bulky to take with me and it's not aging very well. I've been looking for a netbook to replace it...this seems to me like the perfect solution for me.

Wow, I'm speechless. I was gonna get the iPad 2 because of the apps it has, but now idk. Because of this tablet/laptop I REALLY want there to be Netflix streaming and Skype video chat for Android. The word processing application is priceless too. I'm getting a tablet for college and this app will help a lot. The form factor and functionality is just so crazy. Asus really stepped it up here
