its obvious all chords have strings that are block. I guess im the 1st to notice that

i thinks its in standard tuning but i think he forgot to say there are many strings that are block while playing the whole song like the 1st chord of the song that is maybe G, he blocks/silents the 5th string then on the 2nd chord of the song(INTRO) he blocks/silents the 6th and 4th string.

Wow, I have been working on learning how to play for a while now. (it takes me forever cuz I have 6 kids and no time!) I love music and know by learning how to play at least one song, that I can get a really good handle on overall knowledge on how to play in general, as long as I do it repeticiously! Thanx for the video. I have a question though.. I'm a total noob to guitar and i have bronze light strings on my guitar and there a pretty tough on my fingers. What strings do you recommend for a beginner?

I haven't been playing that long, but I recommend you use those strings

They'll hurt your fingers at the start, so maybe have a bowl of iced water to put them in every so often

But once you get used to them you'll never have a problem again

You could try using Nylon strings to get started and get a feel for chords and how to move your hand, after a while you'll get used to the metalic strings

i disagree i tried classical, and it sounded bad and sounded blunt and too high.. Get a 6 metal stringed rock acoustic, id say Electric acoustic because then you have both.
