I have one as well with the same engine. Can't get it started! So much compression. I pull till my shoulder nearly pulls out and only a few short runs of a few seconds so far. I was even told to loosen the spark plug to get it going but I did that with no luck.Still kicks like a mule:-) I can't wait to test run it if I ever get it going.
@magpieyachts If your having starting/running problems check that the cylinder bolts from the crank are free from oil or debris this causes a unsuitable ground for the spark, also check the bolts mounting the coil to the side of the cylinder we had the same problem till we checked these! if need be get a needle file and just brush all the bolt mating surfaces. this should cure the no spark/weak spark. Hope this helps : -) Syco.
Hi I absolutely loved the bit of the clip that got presumably the cameraman wet with prop spray near the end!
Having just finished building my own Lynx, it is a great boat to build and run.
James, although it is 5 months since you posted, YES I would recommend the Lynx. Run time is as big as the fuel tank so long as all the other bits are fitted well to be reliable in operation.
can these engines be modded like the zenoah? and whats the reliability like with the engine
