Finally, Rukawa and Sakuragi moment! LOL. I've always known those two would make up in the end and that was the best part for me. Fantastic ending. Even though they didn't manage to win the Nationals still the story went well with a very dramatic ending that lightens up people's heart and spirit. If ever this will become an anime, My tears will fall for sure. As of now, this manga is LEGEND.

I think the last shot Hanamichi makes is really symbolic of his growth. If he'd have slam dunked, would he really have been any better than he originally was? In the beginning, he couldn't shoot a basket for shit, but now he can swish like a pro. It shows how much his skill has increased as a player. Sorry, I just felt like I needed to say that, I get that it would have been awesome to see him make the final point that way, but I feel like this really exemplifies his progress.

@redundant12 according to eiji's dad, eiji has found his match and that guy is rukawa. sendoh was a great player too but he knows rukawa is a good player who is capable of beating him. it just happened that he caught rukawa as a freshman who is great player but with egocentric attitude. if sendoh played against a mature rukawa, i don't think ryonan will lose in a close game, they might get beaten very badly.

@88stefano88 rukawa was selected in the all-japan team which is the equivalent of being selected to the japan national youth team. sawakita for some reasons wasn't selected because according to his dad he will go to the states after the tournament so it's useless for the national coach to pursue a player that'll not gonna play for his country after all. although rukawa was the only player shown that was in the all-japan team, i have a gut feeling that morishige and masashi were included too.
