So today the plaintiff in this case saw that comment - the comment that everyone said was ignorant and this and that, the comment that everyone said made me look like a fool - and he told me that it was actually 100% accurate. Go ahead, check it out, that's what he said. It was just nice to hear, even though I knew I was right anyway.

once she got her car back she should have repaid him straight away, becuz he only gave her the money because she had no car. Even if she hadn't gotten her car back, she should have to pay him back. I have and older brother and sister and I have never borrowed nor lent, nor gave a gift ever even close to $3,000...not even $200. I see these cases where these people say their siblings "gave as a gift" like thousands of dollars...I'm not selfish, but I would not just give it out, not in this economy

I think JJ is wrong on this one point. If family members are adults that, younger/older crap goes out the window. Their age should not matter. To say that a 38 year old should not borrow from a 21 year old is just plain ridiculous. Now paying him back she should have done or at least made some sort of arrangement. If I got some money from someone and thought it was a gift then they said later on that it was a loan I would just repay it. I'd say I thought it was a gift. Then repay it.
