This video answered so many questions iIve had for so long! It was so simple, but I learned a lot from it! This is going in my favorites, in case I forget. Arigatou!!
We've started doing this in my Japanese 102 class, and one of the vocabulary words we got was "しぬ" which means "to die". So we've been saying things like 死んでください。(Please die) and 死んでもいいですか。(Is it okay if I die?) lol I like て form :D
hmm.. oh but you's looks really different from mine.. I don't know.. the one I learned reminds me a bit of the A b c d song. aaa ha ha hard to explain.. cause I can't find it here on youtube.
No. Ending with "ne" is one of the typical informal speech patterns. The "ne" ending is commonly used like a tag question such as "isn't it?", "aren't you?". However, in this video, I used the "ne" ending to emphasise my request, "please watch my video, ok?"... something like that. :)
Such a helpful video. I've been using the -te form for a while but never been aware it could be used for that 'and' function in a sentence. Thank you a million times over.
Te-ending verbs can be used for connecting actions, like doing something "and" doing something else. They can also be used for asking someone to do something for you.
very nice!! honto ni arigatou!!, i wish there was also a -nai form video... i am learning that now.. and also nakerebanarimasen.... chotto muzukashii nee...
This actually helped me out quite a bit. Thanks!

I though when you go somewhere, the "He" form is in use, such as "Konbini he-" or is that just a Directionairy-form?
zuser 7 months ago
@zuser HE へ (should pronounce "E え" ) can be used in this structure, too. :)

whats the difference between "to" and "te" ???
Glazedtear 3 years ago
"te", in this video, connects to the verb meaning "and."
"to" also means "and", but connects to the noun. e.g. "ringo to banana", means apple and banana.
snapkitten 3 years ago
thank u for clearing that up^^ japanese particles always confuse me when I try to put sentences together.^^
Glazedtear 3 years ago
行きます to go
行って te form of to go
待ちます to wait
待って te for of to wait
コンビニに いって おにぎり お かいます。 ill go to the convenience store to buy me some rice balls.
えきに いって まちます ill go to the station and wait for you
this is a good video i like the stuff that you have taught me and Japanese/日本語 is a cool language thanks for posting your video
