@RollercoasterGEEK100 About a million of people visit Thorpe Park a year because they advertise constantly, have very dynamic investment and it is near London. Alton Towers is in a completely different league, comparing the two is pointless. But I guess it is human nature for people to compare things...

@MrElectricBill Sure, Alton's Towers does have some of my favorite thrill rides I've ever been on, Like Nemesis. But I have to admit, Thorpe Park has amazingly themed rides, most of them give good thrills, and has the most world records. Some of which, turn out to be, the worlds first 10 looping coaster, worlds first horror movie themed coaster, UK's fastest and tallest coaster, Worlds first backwards/dark coaster and more... Alton Towers is good, but Thorpe Park is legendary!

I went that time in 09 as well, I loved the whole park/hotel was really done up nice for halloween.

I went yesterday as well and the decoration for Scarefest wasn't as good this time around and Oblivion was missing it's skeleton's this year.....although there was a ladies shoe inside the hole....

i've been to alton towers before but i hated rollercoasters back then:L i went to thorpe park and i've been on slammer, saw, samaurai, collosus, nemesis inferno and tidal wave and vortex so do you think i'll be alright on this now? i was 11 when i last went to alton towers and i'm 13 now:) thaaanks!

Love this ride did u pay attension the queue videos i did but i walked through like bullet cos there was no queue first ride of the day Oblivion and air are the best rides there Air because id love to fly well i now have and oblivion cos its scary but sensational at the same time

@NemesisInfernoLuver It can be very scary each time you ride it. The drop is quite tall and it builds suspense when it hangs over the drop. When it plummets into the ground you get an amzing thrill but after that it's mostly all over.

You should definitely have a go. :)
