You cannot punish players for using the rules of the game. Good AND bad. WORK from that.

Five or six years ago, a conversation like this probably wouldn't have been looked down upon very much as it would be now by people whose idea of 'fun' is pvp instances and collecting rabbit ears for quest EXP...
There's no levels in Darkfall. Which roughly translates to... if your annoying the server population, they will find you, kick your ass and then take your shit. I'm glad you can kill low level players in other games being max level yourself, but there's no artificial superiority in DFO.
So just think about the waste your life is. You think you're accomplishing much, however you really don't know when someone is going to log in. So you're playing a video game and someone says, "ah, i'll just have to log on some other time and move away" and then you are either going to be playing your character in game for 24 hours waiting for him to log back, or you eventually move away.
Anyone with more than a sliver of brain-power will figure out to just pick a random time to log back.

This is actually needed for developers to make better games. Time and time again developers make game mechanics that only works if some kind of set of "unwritten" rules are followed. If they instead worked out from the idea that griefers exist and viewed their games in that perspective when creating them, these people would not exist because there would´n be any mechanics that could be abused. You cannot punish players for using the rules of the game. Good AND bad. WORK from that.

That game survives even tho a death can set you back weeks and so will darkfall. You probably wont be making an impact on your server at all. There's no levels in Darkfall. Which roughly translates to... if your annoying the server population, they will find you, kick your ass and then take your shit. I'm glad you can kill low level players in other games being max level yourself, but there's no artificial superiority in DFO.

So just think about the waste your life is. You think you're accomplishing much, however you really don't know when someone is going to log in. So you're playing a video game and someone says, "ah, i'll just have to log on some other time and move away" and then you are either going to be playing your character in game for 24 hours waiting for him to log back, or you eventually move away.
Anyone with more than a sliver of brain-power will figure out to just pick a random time to log back.

if you have seen this game tho you will see that griefing is almost non existant. There are guard towers that will kill u in 2 hits and also when you spawn its 5 min invulnerability. Also armor and gear is so easy to come by that losing it wont be that big of deal. if u have been to forumfall u notice that evry 1 is rlly stubborn n wont leave that easily.
