@XiTEMERGENCY Hey pal....these are TWO STOKE engines pulling 90 mph...not some 4 stroke turbo'd or supercharged engine....sorry but turbos and superchargers on a 4 stroke ski is like comparing a dirt bike to a Corvette...Anyone can buy a 300 HP Ultra 300 off the showroom floor, it takes someone with skill to wrench a 2 stroke to these speeds. Oh and BTW, you can get a GP1200R/1300R used, and put $4,000 into it and blow away any new stock 4 stroke ski (that costs $11-10k new)

the only reason the world record is at 87.5 is because it costs a ton of money to get the world record people to come out and look and do the radar testing.
I know there are for sure 1 guy that is over 112 mph and another guy that at like not even half throttle is at over 90mph.
You guys need to read more sites besides riva, and get the facts corrects ;)
Mate i dont give a flying kafuffle what the record is, i reckon you did well regardless.. my only concern is why dont you get out on the surf? riding on glass is boring! but good on ya ..
dont know much about jetskis, but had fast boats for eons and work with fuel development for exxon, total. The water was supercalm, still heavy air= more oxygen for combustion, how light was rider, was fuel peped with propane, nitro, methanol. could go on for ever but wont. dont think money is always the edge for going faster. It isnt
Gp 1300r used to be the corvette of all waverunners until seedoo had to blow it and make their 215 supercharged 4 stroke piece of junk. I have a stock 1300r and they do at least 75 mph. Maybe this guy put some mods on his to make it do 88 mph i might be wrong.
Well your wrong dude i live on the lake & last summer bought a brand new 07' Yamaha GP1300R.I use regular oil, & i use 91 octane. On the weekends low 70's when the waters choppy. When the waters glass ill hit 83 mph top speed. Its better than any other PWC out there racing & cuttn up cuz its lighter. The speedometer might be wrong but all makes & models of seadoos ive won all day long.Hands down to the Kawasaki 3 seater 250x (Hayabusa of the water).Cry me a river sea-doo fans.
your not hitting 83mph i can tell you that right now, maybe come close to 70 on a cold day with no fuel and smooth water, get a gps then get some real numbers.... the new sho is the 250x killer
ok...bunch of yall gonna hate me...but im gonna admit that i am a "seadoo" guy...but i love this waverunner...gp1300r is straight up a great jetski...the hull design is decent and the rated horsepower is unbelievable for a s mall skil....the only thing i dont like bout some of yall is how u lie....77 mph on stock gp1300r is load of shit...that guy in the movie has prob the fastest gp1300r ever....but a stock duznt go that fast...stock hits just around 70 maybe not even. just my input
For you guys wondering how his ski goes that fast its not an easy or cheap task. This is one of the best GPR tuners in the country Its a tripple pipe ski with a lot of modifications and thats why it sounds like that.
Dude, i did use my new 2006 GP1300R on open sea and can not reach more than 52mph because i start flying. The true is we were two on the watercraft... I will try it alone next time. Excellent video, grats.

what mods to the 1300? sounds like it's turning more rpm than ours. we're getting about 65mph with a 170# rider
