That kitty reminds me of the cat from the book titled "Uncle Whiskers" by Philip Brown. It's no longer in print but you can still find used copies on amazon. The cat in that story (based on a real cat,) had been hit by a car, then had it's front leg amputated and the other front leg was disfigured and didn't work like a normal leg. It lived for many years doing the things that normal cats do. Amazing how resilient animals can be.

it ran away, got its leg caught in something and amputated the leg itself (yeah), thats the longer of the two front legs. the other one, it got in a fight and its other leg had to be amputated by the vet
