  • I do agree completely. Fortunately I do not have to watch Channel One this year, but I did have to last year. Most of their stories were not exactly "real" news, but were about things that pertain to teens.

But at the same time, they do have at least one real story a day, last time I watched. For some people, C1 may be the only chance they have to watch the news, or the only time they will watch the news. For me personally, I know that I will be more likely to watch a major news station now.

  • I AGREE, Channel One is an evil, evil program, keep up the good work!

    P.S. Obligation is GREAT!

  • I don't agree, hes just another one of those guys who just want to bitch about something.

    P.S. Your an idiot.

  • i agree with u donkeyo4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree. But it would still be cool if it stayed on the air and was tweaked. But I still wanna go to college, become an NBC page, then sooner or later work for c1 news.

  • I don't think its juvenille and I'm in 11th grade. I depend on them for news. It needs to be tweaked, because its a great concept but not taken off the air.

  • I agree. It was a good concept, but journalists don't run C1. They never have. They are all marketing and advertising people. That doesn't mean those people are bad, but it means journalism is a facade for them. If you take 10 HS students randomly from across the US. 8 of them would never have heard of C1. You will have to compete with these students. They have had an extra 7 wks of school time than you. That is the cost of C1's hour a wk.

  • what is i u have against CH1 news ???? all they do is inform us on the news !!!! i watch CH1 every day !!! here's nothing wrong with it !!!!!

  • This dude really thinks he is talking to someone... The anchors don't pitch anything. DUH!!! what a loser. how many kids do you have? when was the last time you've been in a school? So gatorade shouldn't be pitched to kids... OK! And who is this man... he is talking about what is journalism. Who is he? He isn't a journalist and has no authority to be talking to actual journalists about what journalism is about. And by the way, channel one news is gonna be around for a long time.

  • Sorry, dude. C1 was saved temporarily from bankrupcy on April 23, 2007 by Alloy. Alloy picked up the pathetic remains of C1 simply by assuming some debts. C1 had zero net worth. Hopefully C1 will truly go out of business soon. They once had 8 "reporters" now 3. Anyone who thinks C1N is about journalism hasn't seen the show or is a member of a fan club for one of the anchors. C1 has a loyal fan base in middle schools but most high school students think it is too juvenile.
