Man i understand your view, but lets keep it real. Pple grow( physical and mental) Rich has grown. Yeah he isn't Pantera and Iron, take time an listen to the lyrics too. The words and the Music goes hand in hand. Believe you me i want to bang my head until it falls off, but not always. A good band evolves while having some of its original sound. Thats what filter has done.

This album is great, it just goes to show that these youngsters today have no appreciation for R P'S ability to move forward. Richard Patrick has been mixing the hardcore with a more pop-ish sound since "Title of Record", even more so on "Amalgamut", and the new album is a continuation of that musical path. He obviously doesnt want to make another "Short Bus". If that loses him older fans, then he's obviously willing to risk it to make the kind of statement he wants. "I Keep the Flowers Around" is one of the best songs he's ever written and it has plenty of balls to go around.
