  • It sure is!

  • Škoda has better

  • Nie ma to jak japonska precyzja :D

  • what if someone left the handbreak on? it would be like. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!

  • must have been awsome to be there and watch

P.S robkane35 the music is rappers delight by the sugar hill gang

  • I see lil peg thingeys at the base of each wheel holding them onto the ramp

  • this mush have been a bitch to get right!

  • @AdrianC12345 the last time I built one of these, it was half the size of this one and took me 6 days to get right

  • @BreathingCheese I can only imagine. Lol.

  • no emorawz is right, the tyre can't be weighted cause it doesn't make sense, if the tyre were weighted they would roll down the hill not up >.> plus tyre don't have sides there circle :P its all amassing but the tyre part does raise questions :L

  • @welshboywelshboy thanks :P

  • That is utterly amazing!

  • F*cking awesome!!!!

  • Apparently, this took over 600 takes to get right!

  • amazing advert. 100% real aswell. remember seein it on some programme. (Y)

  • Apparently it costed £1 million to produce this ad

  • There's a lot of good parts, but it's a tad too long and the tires going up the ramp are kinda not believable. Much of the rest is definitely believable. It's great overall.

  • It is belivable--as it's all real. Took AGS to set up if I remeber correctly. :)

  • There were no computers used in this advert and no edits (all shot in 1 take).

  • Its all 100% real. The wheels go up the ramp because the spoked parts of the wheel weigh more than the other bits.

  • the tires where weighted on one side so they would roll up hill.

  • @04pearsw that...doesn't make sence...

  • It makes perfect fucking sence! If the is a weight on one side of the tyre the laws of gravity will make that weight try and reach the floor. so as it moves down towards the floor the tyre rolls. Your just too dumb to get the concept. Watch the making of this and you will understand..

  • @04pearsw wow...you really are stupid...and why so angry?

  • oh wait the song at the end is rappers delight

    the two sound similar XP

  • I heard on CBC Radio 1 that this is real and it took about 600 tries to get it to work.

  • OK, it's a brilliant advert. Give it an award. But after I first watched it? I couldn't remember the name of the car. I had no idea.

Ridiculous! It entirely misses the point of advertising!

  • but you remember honda.

  • It IS real, no CGI......check it out

  • chill the fuck out, its only an advert, the idea is that they are to be creative and different, there usually isn't any reality in adverts, check out the other HONDA advert. The diesel engines flying in the air. get real, its a great advert and a lot of thought went into it, and i should think a hell of a lot of takes. song is by the sugarhill gang - rapper's delight. long song!

  • Song sounds Groovy, what is that song anyway?

  • sounds like 'another one bites the dust' by queen

  • I LOVE THIS ADVERT

possibly the best advert of all time

  • damndamndamn.

I need to know the name of these contraptions..like

    what they are

i have 'gold' or something in my head

this probably doesnt make any sense, but the general name given to things like this..anyone have a clue what im talking about?

  • Rube Goldberg devices :)

  • THANKYOU. SO MUCH =D

  • The best bit is that this happened for real

  • it did? I don't think so actually, for a start, tires don't roll "up" hill ^^

  • Tyres do roll up hill if they have a weight in the top

  • it took hundred of takes, and it did happen for real.

  • Yeah, weights in the wheels.

  • It's not hard to believe at all - the wheels are positioned so that they are stable - (something sticky on the bottom to hold them there, perhaps? - just one idea of many), and when they are nudged, they are put off-balance, and the weights hidden inside or behind the tyre out of view enable them to roll up the hill - it's very easily done. I've seen videos ABOUT this video that explain that's it's all done for real, and it took something like 600-odd take to get it right, if I recall correctly

  • cause I'm not intellectually arrogant. Do a some philosophy of science humble yourself a bit. And wash your mouth out while you're at it, there is no need to get so heated.

  • you are fucking idiot!

  • i agree. there is no way they could do that with the wheels. cool ad though

  • Yes, it is possible. Car wheels are weighted to increase stability, and that's how they were magically rolling up the slope after being touched.

  • It was real with the wheels.

  • This commercial is an absolute work of art. It belongs in the Tate Modern. In fact, there's nothing in the Tate that can even hold a candle to this. Its an extraordinary video. Very creative and imaginative. Its remarkable how the makers managed to get all of those things to work.

  • 606 takes that advert took. they made sure that that all the gadgets moved on their last push becasue as they said "we could easily of put it all closer and made sure it worked but what woulda been great about that?"

id hate to have been the one who had to reset it all

also, imagine if it worked but the camera man missed half of it cuz he couldnt keep up with it haha

  • Question- there is an advert for a car with a man in suit who has a car handle- he puts this handle on various objects and the objects open like a door- he goes to a beach and the top of a submarine hatch in this way. Can anybody tell me what ca this advert is advertising so i can get the music from it?

  • Ford S-Max

  • This is without doubt, the best advert ever made, bar none! Shame it's for Honda, who make the least cool cars in the world! That said, they look to redeem themselves with the FCX Clarity, and possibly save the world doing it. Does anybody here actually own one? Is it any different than a normal car?

  • Honda is one of the most reliable cars in the world. Especially Accord. What do you mean different? Looks better? No. Moves faster? Nope. But you get REAL value for your money.

Japanese and German people make the best cars. other nations just tried...

  • When I meant different, I mean does it work different to any other car? Because it runs on a hydrogen fuel cell I was just wondering if there was a special way that you had to drive it, or does it work like just any other car? Granted they are reliable, but they don't have the cool factor anymore. Not since they dropped the NSX anyway.

  • I think you don't need any special driving skills or equipment or anything else to drive that car, it's like any other. Of course I'm not SURE about that, it's just a guess. I agree, that HONDA cars aren't look so cool like some V8 muscle cars :) Happy New Year, mate

  • Japanese cars are the best but common european cars are overrated.

  • silly honda, that's not how physics works.

    Great ad though.

  • wow as if they spent there time and made this from scratch so that it all worked out

  • Oh...Nice....

  • cool :) rubbish car xD

  • ahhh i used to love this ad!!!

  • awesome advert.... a shame its a rubbish car

  • man awesome advert for an awesome car

  • Best advert in the world

  • not cgi

that took two hundred and thirty eight takes to get right

    fantastic advert

still cant beeive its real though

    fantastic

  • def not cgi...fact

  • My fav ad well mabye after some beer ones

  • should be considered one of the best car adverts ever! without a doubt

  • it rly is fun to see how things can work--- I like the wipers too!!

  • I researched the tyre thing and the way they did it was to put weights at the top of the insides of the tyres- aha! My favourite bit is the windscreen wipers walking along the floor-it tickles me.

  • this is SICK!!!!!!!

  • I'd be sick of this if it kept appearing on my television.

  • wat a advert

  • the tires were forced up the ramp

  • yeah at 0:26, the tires were going up... how?

  • weights on the top of the tires on the inside, it took 2 weeks to film this ad and get everything working properly and when they were going to pack up they had one last go and, MAJIC! it worked!

  • yeh hes right its not CG i remember researching it after i saw it on tv, and it took like 30 takes

  • It took 606 takes actually.

  • Nope, it took 72 hours before it went without a hitch.

  • omg those people making that must have had the patience of a....a.............ummmm....sloth??

  • I don't think they have the patience of SLOTHS; I just think you have a lack of good metaphors... xox

  • aparently they wanted to do that like without takeing each part at different times it was done in one shot don't know how many times it was done the biggest problem they had was the windscreen wipers they kept going off in one direction lol :P

  • this is all real aswell n took... well i cant remember how many takes, but alot!

  • am sorry but if that was real then how the HELL did they get the wheels to roll up hill?? and there are other things but i am not going to bother putting them up...

  • weights at the top of the wheels

  • Duh, ever heard of weights? The wheels were carefully weighted.

  • tell me how the hell that can be gay?

  • When things just work.... Oh man I love that ending song!

  • wooooo first comment
