To prevent it curving too much, superglue keeps its place. No carelessness with Voldemorts wand. It looks fragiler.
@Sirusblack34 yeh thats what i thought if it was a tooth pick it would be crap and they wouldnt have space to put the rod in it. and your not screwed cus i dropped all of mine as they fell off the display case including VOLDEMORTS and dumbledores, theyre fine cus they hav a metal rod through em. no offence

@insanemidget911 yew isnt a magical tree its a real tree and what makes it powerful it the core like some have pheonix feather some have dragon heart string and some of them have unicorn hair and plus not all of the wands are made of yew some of them are just made out of a plain tree so u are wrong on SO many levels my friend!!

actually if you look up yew on google or yew wands on google images, you'll see that it is a very light colored wood that is similar to white(bone color) also with a certain type of stain you can bring out the color. so yeah no one ever factors in stain, the wnad could have been stain and made to look like a bone. also yew is "whitey yellow". plus the wand was hidden by pettigrew. so whereever it was it may have been worn over time. i think this wand is a good look for voldemort.

what a load of arse gravy. firstly, the colour depends on the varnishing, not the wood (incidentally, yew is a beize/off-white colour). secondly, it is a bone, not a bird,and if anything it looks like a vulture's head. thirdly, the indents are all in the styling of the wand. it is shaped like a bone to give the wand a sinister air since, lord voldemort is supposed to be the wizarding world's answer to herr hitler!!!

Second, I know it's a bone, I am not stupid, I merely said I thought it looks like a phoenix head, not that it actually is! All of the other videos I have seen refer to the indents as being worn down never "styling" and as for Voldemort being the equivalent of Hitler? Voldemort had a(seven) soul(s) .
