hold up. everybody reading this comment continue. if you listen closely to the man in the mw3 trailer talking, when he says "it only takes the will of a single man." ghost talks. one sec lemme highlight what he says "it only takes the (will of a single man)" now go watch the launch trailer and listen carefully the guys voice changes into Ghosts' voice.
I can see it now, a cut scene opens with gaz getting shot in the shoulder, the bullet missing his head, and then him escaping the russian hospital with soap leaving captain price behind(actually happened in the story without the mention of gaz), and transforming into a new identity as ghost to stay hidden from the russians for 5 years, then ghost survives shepherd's betrayal with a gun shot wound in his side....I should be a writer for Activision/Infinity Ward.

@roach13200: Ghost was shot once by Gen. Shepard in the upper-rightchest area (Above your lung). So it did not hit any vital organs; nor did it puncture any arteries. Ghost survives, Cpt. Price survives, and Roach dies... Personally, I am just going to wait and see how Infinity Ward takes place in this roll of Ghost. Hopefully Ghost got up after they left, and somehow saved Roach by putting out the fire by taking him to near-by water. But, I really don't know. Hopefully they both survived...

In the Beginning of the game ghost is complaining about whereing a fire proof vest and when roach is getting burned u can see if you have a big enough TV Ghost is laying behind the ghost pooring the gas on him. The 2 Sniper you can see on the right when your walking toward sheperd are getting into a fast attack chopper in there ghillie suits.In Addition to that Gaz is dead he died in the last sceen in Cod4. when you see ghost fall down next to him you can see his eyes blinking.

GUYS! IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY there he was shot in the heart area and then at 0:45! there is another blood splat. And that area is where his kidney or something would be at. So it wasn't just some little small splat from Roach. HE ACTUALLY DIED! Thumbs up if you see what I am talking about! :D

People, let's think here. You don't come back from a .32 Magnum bullet to the chest point blank range and then burned and expect to live. If they make up some bullshit story that he lived, it's gonna ruin the story.
IF Ghost comes back in MW3 he's not gonna be a bad guy. Besides he never acts on his own, he always listens to the squad leader (McTavish for example). He thinks with his head but never gives really "heavy" orders. He's just gonna be a part of the squad and do his part with absolute perfection as always ;)
Roach and Ghost are probably both still alive because they wouldn't just hav Ghost wear the Fireproof vest because thats just F'd up so they are both probably alive and Ghost is probably going to be in MW3 but Roach won't cuz he will be severely injured because he was the one who got mostly burned

@D4rkw41k look in my opinion it seems like no one of task force 141 was shepherd's soldier...they were all his pions and then he took them out one by one... he missed though price.soap.....I can't really figure out what happened to the two snipers in the beggining of the mission but i think they will collect ghost(if he's alive cause we can't know)
I think the reason they wore fireproof vests is because Shepherd didn't really want them to die, he wanted to give them a chance of survival. I think this because he has a sad, concerned look when he takes the DSM.
I think Robert means Ghost isn't exactly dead because he will have an influence on MW3 and his history and ways of war will not be dead, but physically he will be dead. As you can see he was shot and burned, even though it doesn't show them pouring gasoline on him, you know they did. If you think that a kidney shot wouldn't kill him, a .44 Magnum can blow everything around that out with its power and kill him. I think Robert means that and MW3 will not physically have Ghost. Hard to explain...
this was painful watching ghost getting shot and dying again it was painful seeing it first then after i beat campagin on veteran (which is very hard btw) poor ghost :(

@roach13200: Ghost was shot once by Gen. Shepard in the upper-rightchest area (Above your lung). So it did not hit any vital organs; nor did it puncture any arteries. Ghost survives, Cpt. Price survives, and Roach dies... Personally, I am just going to wait and see how Infinity Ward takes place in this roll of Ghost. Hopefully Ghost got up after they left, and somehow saved Roach by putting out the fire by taking him to near-by water. But, I really don't know. Hopefully they both survived...

K Listen here. In the Beginning of the game ghost is complaining about whereing a fire proof vest and when roach is getting burned u can see if you have a big enough TV Ghost is laying behind the ghost pooring the gas on him. The 2 Sniper you can see on the right when your walking toward sheperd are getting into a fast attack chopper in there ghillie suits.In Addition to that Gaz is dead he died in the last sceen in Cod4. when you see ghost fall down next to him you can see his eyes blinking.

GUYS! IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY there he was shot in the heart area and then at 0:45! there is another blood splat. And that area is where his kidney or something would be at. So it wasn't just some little small splat from Roach. HE ACTUALLY DIED! Thumbs up if you see what I am talking about! :D

IF Ghost comes back in MW3 he's not gonna be a bad guy. Besides he never acts on his own, he always listens to the squad leader (McTavish for example). He thinks with his head but never gives really "heavy" orders. He's just gonna be a part of the squad and do his part with absolute perfection as always ;)

@D4rkw41k look in my opinion it seems like no one of task force 141 was shepherd's soldier...they were all his pions and then he took them out one by one... he missed though price.soap.....I can't really figure out what happened to the two snipers in the beggining of the mission but i think they will collect ghost(if he's alive cause we can't know)

I think the reason they wore fireproof vests is because Shepherd didn't really want them to die, he wanted to give them a chance of survival. I think this because he has a sad, concerned look when he takes the DSM.

I think Robert means Ghost isn't exactly dead because he will have an influence on MW3 and his history and ways of war will not be dead, but physically he will be dead. As you can see he was shot and burned, even though it doesn't show them pouring gasoline on him, you know they did. If you think that a kidney shot wouldn't kill him, a .44 Magnum can blow everything around that out with its power and kill him. I think Robert means that and MW3 will not physically have Ghost. Hard to explain...
