I had this book when I was a baby-child! In the end those tigers ended up as Pancake Batter- Sambo outsmarted them! And his Mama made him a big plate of pancakes--- Yikes Now!- But loved it then!
I don't understand why people are offended by this, and also why the mother looks Aftican. Little Black Sambo was eastern Indian. Tigers are from Asia not Africa.
