  • he was a man of the people ahead of his time truly missed but not forgotten

  • I was Bobo's guitar player from 1967 to 1969 at the original Big Star Record studio in Detroit. I had forgotten that he first recorded with the Browns at Fortune. Have you got any more of Bo's old 45's?

  • @BoiDetroit bobo was a awesome guy, I hung out with him at his studio on joy rd, Big Star, during that time, george was playing bass, and he had Ricky ross in the studio that one day,I jamed with george and rick during a break, it was so funny, rick is an awesome gutarist, and bobo kelp telling him, I DONT WANT THAT ROCK & ROLL SOUND, rick said, ok bobo ok bobo, lol. iT was funny, you had to be there, I'm still looking for a copy of Shake em on down and water gate blues

  • @proshea01 His first studio was on Alexandrine under a record store when I was his guitarist. Bobo was an unforgettable guy. Getting him mad was easy and Brazz, the drummer, and I did it for sport. The Detroit Blues Society might be able to help you out finding those songs.

  • This is a very good example of how BoBo sounded....on the day he got in tune.

  • This is great Detroit blues, BoBo was great.
