  • what does the red dot mean?

  • @WildMan7856 It means that someone has brought the piece.

  • This is novelty and pure genius!

  • That's some terrible cello playing! :/

  • Tastefully done

  • every little object in our modern world has a history and a purpose. when taken out of context it can be interpreted as a work of art if looked at with unbiased eyes, noticing more aspects of it making it something new

    FUCKIN' GENIUS!

  • @KilluaXIII Yep, the irony is that everything IS art.

  • What were the red spots on the descriptions for?

  • @Hi88378 I think they're used in real galleries for stuff thats sold

  • @pkwithobby The guy put it on the note describing the train, right? xD

  • thumbs up if you feel strange while watching this ! I WAS !

  • Hahahaha. This is funny

  • its funny how people suddenly develop airs and grace when their usual subway is transformed into a art gallery.

  • ahahaha i love this! soo funny.

  • I wish ImprovEverywhere was actually everywhere :(

  • Always sooooo interesting lol

  • Please come to the Philippines.....itll be my priviledge to show you around....

  • the cello was a really nice touch!

  • I've often thought that 'arty' people are so ignorant that they cant see the difference between bull and the real thing, but oddly enough, most of our most revered artists were infact the commercial artists of their day. graffiti isnt worth crap as theres tons of it under rome thats not worth a dime. show me a roman advert in mural form and its worth a fortune. its a pity you didnt put a description next to a tramp with a lousy dog and instrument to highlight bodyart as crap and pointless too.

  • lol the people in this video drink so much that they actually thinks its interesting reading the info XD

  • Must say, violin, nice touch.

  • @NteTaiNeme ....violin....would that be a 16/4 size violin?

  • Hmmmm yes yes very avant garde.

  • I wonder how many laws were broken in the making of these vids XD

  • lol @ the sign that says arrival of the train

  • This is a great prank also: watch?v=zWdvd90pOA8

  • seriously who comes up with this? :D

  • whats with these guys and the subway,

  • @rexkobedude common public place with the assurance of lots of traffic?

  • Free champagne :D

  • Beats modern art.

  • Nice, its like a whole are showing done by Marcel Duchamp ... LOL!! hahaha

  • What is the red sticker for????

  • What does the red sticker mean?

  • 02:56 - 03:08 lol so good.

  • There is a certain amount of design and aesthetic consideration that goes into all those things you see on a subway platform. Why is the handle of that phone yellow and not blue, gray or red? Why are the letters in the station marker spelled using tiles and not painted on? While they may have been poking fun at the pretentious art community, they have exposed that the mundane can be artful. Kudos, IE. :)

  • The artist in me is laughing SO HARD! People actually WOULD do this!

Bravo! I wish we had something like here in Los Angeles. :)

  • Interesting and creative video and idea!

  • how do they fit everything in such small places all the time?

  • The cellist was awesome. This is very interesting. I have to agree with jk15214.

  • That was a really good idea

  • That guy at 1:25 looks like Justin Timberlake

  • That little plaques are so serious that's it's funny ;)

  • cool

  • I love how incredibly deadpan all those descriptions are, haha! The guy who thought them up truly is a genius. :D

    Any1 else?

  • @713animeluvr heck yeah xD

  • LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL awesome

  • It's amazing how perception changes. People are so gullible..

  • You should really hit pause, and read the descriptions.

They are hilariously funny, in themselves.

  • Brilliant! Love how this almost forces you to change your perspective of your everyday life.

    Wonderful job IE. Wonderful.

  • lol the new york subway station looks so ugly =P the beams are sticking out and shit

  • ha ha! "this is an on going display. most people can't imagine life without this interaction with this piece of art."

  • Love the guy clapping the train passing through.

  • too funny! I only wish I lived in New York to see this in person! When is the next gallery opening? lol!

  • The only thing is I can't always tell who is a bystander.

  • I love this, turning the New York subway into a art show. Very creative and superbly executed.

  • jajajajaja no mames!!! está bien precioso

  • Just the way you interpret some of these is just...wow. Creating meaning where there is absolutely none.

  • The obvious response is to laugh at people looking at the 'art'. Its also interesting to think that something like this can make you appreciate the world in a new way; after all what is art if not a comment on life?

  • What??? No homeless bums?? C'mon!! Actually, if a bum were passing out drinks, I'd be afraid. very afraid.

  • They must've had a heck of a lot of fun coming up with what to type for each "artwork"

  • HOW MUCH IS IT WORTH :D

  • The placards made me laugh the hardest.

  • 283 people don't appreciate fine art.

    Well done guys. :D

  • right modern art

  • Subscribe to our channel-- we regularly post new videos and have 100 awesome ones from the past!

  • oh god lol the chellist made it epic

  • WOAH!!! big tip jar! hahahaha

  • Art can be anything as long as you have the right discourse to go with it...

  • It's all truely art, it's not often people stop to see all the great things around us!

Here Here to the elctricians, masons, painter and carpenters etc. of the world!!

    You guys are awsome!

  • @jk15214 Good comment. Artisans are never appreciated as they should be.

Not sure I agree in cases of artist who claim these items for their own exhibition though. Some found art is interesting, but it has to be the height of laziness to appropriate the work of another & claim it as their own. If that's art - just because they saw it, then we are all artists because we see it too.

Video improv is the supreme ironic medium - capturing the moment & the absurdity & replaying again & again.

  • @jk15214 dawww thank you from an electrical engineer :D

  • @jk15214 I don't think you understand the joke here is that not everything really is art.

  • Beautiful cello!

  • @gegen2magark

maybe she was a person with a real taste for art and realized it was a joke XD

  • @gegen2magark She's so pretty when she flashes that smile. Who knows what she was really thinking.

  • 1:54. I like how he puts back one empty cup and immediately takes the other one :D

  • Wasome sauce. Keep up the great work you guys! ^_^

  • I would love to work with you guys. I love doing things such as this. Will sub and add you to my facebook. Keep up with the excellent improvs :-)

  • I'm disappointed that this comment section is full of people harping on modern art.

The whole idea of this video is not so different from a piece of modern art.

  • 1:56

That guy stayed for the booze

  • The best part? These "exhibits" are about as art-like as the real stuff.

  • @wilsanches2004 utube money!!!!!!

  • The write-ups look pretty good =)

  • This is genius!
