Great video, well up to the usual advanced biker stuff, thanks, I'm doing RoSPA myself and have used your videos to supplement my training. Looking at the video again though .... riding on the white lines (3:57) is technically a £60 fine isnt it? and at 6:30, no hands on the bars!!!!!
@WillowG11 - Good luck with the Rospa, keep me informed and let me know how you get on. White Lines - I have had a look at the vid and can see where you are coming from. The offence is committed if you 'straddle' or cross the line. I these two cases he 'brushed' the line.

Uncluttered roads with signage & markings only where necessary, and no silly coloured paint and other paraphernalia, are so much better for "reading". The hazards/changes/differences stand out a little more markedly from the more "regular" lengths. This road is mostly such a stretch.
Sadly, more and more roads are being turned into a gaudy mish-mash of often superfluous info (such as "humps for 137 yards" etc.). As to the ridiculous central islands and dangerous projecting kerbs...
Like another bloke said, I find a commentary easier to do when driving. Having said that, doing it when driving seems to sharpen up my riding. This is a gleaming video, Advancedbiker!
Thanks I will pass the comments on. It is difficult the first time to try and get the balance right. What you are mentioning will come wtih practice, usually when they are more at ease.
I appreciate that the camera only gives a narrow view of the ride, but at 00:45 it is possible to see the light surface on the offside - Is it wise to commit to an overtake into that area without knowing if a hidden vehicle could emerge from it?
Just seen the comment for 0045.I think that is fair, if they notice I was contemplating taking the lorry as well but rolled when I saw the larger drive way hence thats why I changed the plan and came in behind the lorry.Nice thinking.
Also fun to see another rider with an old bmw and an autocom system just installed (like me). I start comms with the word "ok" to get the vox started up, but I've got ptt to install now for better control over voice comms.
I am due to start my RoSPA training in the next week or two and found this really good, gives me an insight into what I can expect - decided to do it after a Bikesafe course with the police - a real eye opener !
I am looking at taking the rider out again, with another RoSPA senior observer, two camera bikes and perhaps looking at some common problems we come across when we first start to train as Advanced riders,
I need to go now - off training with cars with the Fire Service - Two tones and Blue Lights
I can only think it is the vox setting. Like I mentioned first time he had used it. That is why despite me repeating myself, I also say the first word twice, just to get the system 'started'.
I thought that was very good. Interesting to hear what a rider is seeing and the thoughts on what is seen.
I must admit whenever I talk myself through I ocasionly say Left when I mean right and VsV. It would well confusing for anyone listening although in my mind I know what I mean.
Just needs to sort the clipping problem out on the radio.

Only heard "Mirrors" twice and never "Change of road surface". Not bad for a 1st attempt but many long gaps.

What a good run with commentary, I still find commentary on the bike a lot harder than in the car. He was really good if it was his first attempt!

Is it your radio setting. Some radios have a roger bleep tone, which you can turn off. I used to have one....

liking the different camera views you change them up now. =)
